‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Friday May 27: Jill Fights Billy’s Self-Destruction, Convinces Jack & Phyllis to Help – Luca Makes a Bold Move – Billy Wants Phyllis

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, May 27, tease that Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) will give Billy (Jason Thompson) some news about Victoria (Amelia Heinle). When Luca stops by, he’ll suggest that Victoria is neglecting her duties at Newman Enterprises. Billy won’t think that’s his concern. Victoria can do whatever she wants. Billy decides they’re done here and promptly throws Luca out.

Once he’s alone, Luca calls his minion and reminds him to watch Victoria closely. Meanwhile, Jill (Jess Walton) speaks to Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) about Billy’s destructive cycle. She worries that Billy could get back into gambling. Jill says she’ll pull her donation from the foundation if Jack doesn’t at least try to get through to Billy.

Jack finally says he’ll talk to his brother. Jill insists that Phyllis should get in on this, too. She thinks Phyllis can help since she’s not like all of the women who usually fall for Billy. Elsewhere, Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) and Michael (Christian LeBlanc) enjoy a bottle of bubbly. They’re celebrating Michael’s reinstatement as an attorney. Jill arrives later and fills them in on her plan to rectify Billy’s problems.

At Newman Enterprises, Summer (Hunter King) defends her recent actions. She explains why she let Luca help her craft the proposal and why she signed Victoria’s name. Victoria is outraged that Summer put her reputation in Luca’s hands. She doesn’t trust him and points out that he’s not her employee. Victoria insists she could arrest both of them for fraud if she wanted to.

Victoria declares that she doesn’t have to prove herself to them. Summer wants Victoria to acknowledge that Luca’s move benefited her. Victoria confesses that she’s been distracted, but argues that Luca is manipulating Summer. Jill shows up and urges Victoria to focus on Billy. She feels like they love each other. Jill just thinks Billy needs Victoria to make the first move.

Victoria is tired of dealing with Billy’s messes. She states that they’re not getting back together. Victoria doesn’t seem to care what Billy does as long as he’s out of her hair. Just outside Victoria’s office, Summer tells Luca that she tried to explain everything. She can’t understand why Victoria is being so stubborn. Luca thinks she’ll come around eventually.

Victoria finishes her shouting match with Jill and leaves the office. She says she’s going out and Summer is in charge. Victoria urges Summer to call her if there’s a problem. She heads off to Hank’s bar for a chat with Travis (Michael Roark).

Victoria talks to Travis about how things are really over with her ex. Travis suggests that means he has a chance. Victoria shuts down the idea and says she can’t keep coming by. Travis replies that he’ll take what he can get as he leans in for a kiss. Luca’s lackey takes a picture of them nearby. Later, Victoria and Travis end up making love again.

While Luca and Summer hold down the fort, an email comes in about an incident on an offshore drilling platform. Luca thinks Summer can handle this, but she says Victoria should know what’s going on. Summer attempts to call Victoria, but she won’t pick up.

Luca tells Summer that it’s critical for Newman to take action right away. He gets on the phone and prepares to give a statement addressing the incident. It will be released to the press immediately.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Jack and Phyllis will stage their modest intervention. At Billy’s place, Jack states that Billy’s family is concerned about him. That goes for Phyllis, too. Billy says he started to gamble, but he reconsidered.

Jack wonders if there’s anyone special in Billy’s life. When Billy indicates that there was, Jack thinks he must be talking about Victoria. He doesn’t believe Billy should give up hope. As Billy glances toward Phyllis, he vows to win the woman he loves. Y&R rumors hint that Billy’s plan will come with many complications.
