‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Adam’s Loved Ones Honor His Memory, Jack Plans to Attend – Victor Reaches Out to Chelsea

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, September 7, tease that Adam’s (Justin Hartley) loved ones will gather to celebrate his life and say their goodbyes. In the preview video, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) greets Nick (Joshua Morrow) and suggests that this is a beautiful way to honor Adam’s memory. They’ll share a hug as the Newmans try to soldier on.

Of course, Jack (Peter Bergman) was also deeply affected by the news of Adam’s death. His friendship with Adam was complicated and often rocky, but it was a friendship nonetheless. Jack knows that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) must be going through an incredibly tough time.

Although Jack isn’t a big fan of Victor (Eric Braeden), he realizes that he’s suffering as well. Jack will make plans to pay his respects, but it looks like Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) won’t approve. Wednesday’s Y&R preview video shows Jack shouting that he’ll go to Adam’s memorial and acknowledge Victor’s loss.

Phyllis will just have to get on board with the idea or at least overlook it. Jack always tries to do the right thing, even when there’s bad blood. Phyllis, on the other hand, will hold a grudge until the day she dies. Sometimes opposites attract, but Phyllis certainly seems drawn to brooding Billy’s (Jason Thompson) similarities these days.

Meanwhile, Victor will stop by to check on Chelsea and Connor. He’ll want to see how they’re coping and make a bold declaration. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Victor will admit that he understands why Chelsea must be angry with him.

In the past, Victor has tried to block Chelsea’s efforts to leave town. However, things have obviously changed thanks to Adam’s demise. Victor doesn’t think it’s appropriate to tell Chelsea what she can and can’t do anymore. If Chelsea wants to start a new life with Connor elsewhere, then Victor won’t stand in her way.

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will eavesdrop on their conversation nearby. She’ll appear nervous about the possibility of Chelsea moving. Chloe hated Adam’s guts, but she considers Chelsea to be a dear friend.
