‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Threatens Sage – Adam Newman Jumps To Her Defense

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that Victor Newman [Eric Braeden] is not welcoming to Nick Newman’s [Joshua Morrow] new wife, Sage [Kelly Sullivan]. Many fans have questioned how he can be so cruel to Sharon Newman [Sharon Case]; however flat out accommodating to Sage.

Victor told Sage a few days ago that without the baby, she is no longer family.  He gave her a dose of reality—without Christian in tow, she is only a temporary complication in his life. At the heart of Victor’s threats, he is fully aware that Sage has hold of Adam [Justin Hartley] in a way he doesn’t seem to understand.

Victor realized that sharing a child is a powerful bond, and knows that Adam feels obligated to protect her. It has not been revealed yet if Sage knows that Adam was Christian’s biological father or not—all fans know is Victor is CONVINCED Adam fathered his newest grandson.

Adam responded to his father’s threats to his former wife by asking his father to clarify his meaning—asking if he really wants her to pack up her stuff and leave. Victor, of course, denies it stating he just wishes her peace in her grief.

Victor knows exactly what he is doing. He is aware of the fact that Sage doesn’t feel secure in her position in the family. She doesn’t exactly feel loved by her newest husband, Nick, and knows it wouldn’t take much to shove her out of the Newman inner circle.

It is possible that Victor has noticed Sage’s infatuation for Adam, and worries their bond will spell trouble for Adam and Chelsea—a connection he wants to nip in the bud, pronto. Is it possible that Victor will successful run Sage outta town? Are we [fans] stuck with her since she is the mama to a Newman heir?
