The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Teaches Travis a Bloody Halloween Lesson – Deadly Demotion Results

The Young and the Restless' Spoilers: Victor Teaches Travis a Bloody Halloween Lesson – Deadly Demotion ResultsTravis (Michael Roark) thought that he understood Victor (Eric Braeden) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But Abby (Melissa Ordway) advised the new hire that her father warned her about him last week. Choosing to pursue a thorough path, instead of following the ‘Black Knight’s’ direct orders, proved to be damning for Travis on Halloween Day in Genoa City.

The ‘Black Knight’ told Travis that the Newman clan wasn’t under suspicion. But his protege didn’t rule out anyone from having leaked Newman Enterprises’ confidential financial information to the press. That’s why Travis was asking everyone questions and then ran a fool’s errand to Chancellor Park.

Believing that he was onto something important, Travis took a tip he received and then high-tailed it Y&R’s favorite outdoor setting. Initially hiding behind an entrance way at the Park’s cafe, he saw Jack (Peter Bergman) drop an envelope into a trash can. Travis waited until he thought Jack left, retried the envelope and opened it only to discover multiple blank pages of paper. Sherlock Holmes likely isn’t part of Mr. Crawford’s bloodline.

Meanwhile Abby saw Curtis Fielding (Bradley Snedeker) meet with Phyllis inside the Genoa City Athletic Club. She reported that fact to her father. Victor later relayed the information to Travis. The ‘Moustache’ told him that he’d been suspicious of Fielding for about a week, but omitted significant information that he’d confided to Abby. Victor was allowing Fielding to feed false information to Jack.

The test Victor gave Travis was in a different category. It was also one that he didn’t pass. Victor then told Travis that he and Abby would be handling this problem from here on out. As for Vickie’s (Amelia Heinle) new boyfriend, he’ll now be crunching numbers.

This demotion might not be permanent, as Victor cryptically said that Travis probably wouldn’t be given another chance to prove himself. The word ‘probably’ surely was used to imply that another opportunity is possible. When it suits Victor’s purpose, Travis will probably be used in some fashion again.
