‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Newman Turns Over New Leaf, Will His Kids Forgive Him?

Over the course of the years on “The Young and the Restless” Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has been known for his tough love tactics, but that all could be about to change.

According to Y&R spoilers, we may be seeing a kinder, gentler Victor Newman in 2017. Could it be a Christmas miracle or just Sally Sussman’s writing back in action?

After Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) babysit their grandson Christian so he can go deal with matters at the underground, Victor tries to talk him into letting Noah takeover for him at the underground so it could free him up to return to work at Newman Enterprises, which has childcare on the premises.

Then, shockingly Victor tells Nick if he returns he will clear him a path to sitting on the Newman throne, but Nick does not accept the offer.

With Nick turning down his dad’s offer, it makes Victor come to the realization that his children have all went down their own paths and may not takeover Newman Enterprises one day like he had hoped. So he feels it’s time for him to make amends and be there for his family more so than the company. Do you Y&R viewers think Victor will finally step down at Newman Enterprises?

Victor will be reevaluating his priorities and wants to help his children nurture the next generation of Newmans. So, it appears that we will be seeing a lot more of Victor with his family rather than pulling all the strings at Newman Enterprises.

Would you Y&R fans like to see a softer side of Victor? Do you think he has it in him? It will be interesting to see how everyone in Victor’s family responds to him being around a lot more. This could even be great for his marriage.
