‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Infuriated By Neil And Nikki – Faux Romance Turns Real?

‘The Young and The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Nikki Newman [Melody Thomas Scott] has had just about enough of being neglected by Victor Newman [Eric Braeden] as he pursues reestablishing Newman Enterprises, taking down the Santoris, and his ongoing Abbott issues.

Nikki feels like she’s at the bottom of Victor’s list of priorities and she’s not wrong – but looks like Nikki is ready to do something about it. She and Neil Winters [Kristoff St John] will use each other to get revenge on Victor and try and push Hilary Curtis [Mishael Morgan] back to Devon Hamilton [Bryton James].

But could this play-acting turn into something real between the two – or cause dramatic ripples they didn’t anticipate? Y&R spoilers indicate that even though Neil kissed Nikki at New Years and texted her with a sexy message to try and convince Hilary they’re fooling around, Hilary doesn’t buy it.

Hilary will turn on the charm and try and seduce Neil at Jabot Labs. Looks like Neil will give in and sex up his son’s wife (or get really close to doing the deed), even though it’s the last thing he wants to do. Is this the trigger for Neil to fall off the wagon?

Y&R spoilers tease that Neil’s sobriety will slip and he’ll take a drink, but is it just one small mistake or the start of a downward spiral? Meanwhile, Nikki leaves clues for Victor that makes it look like she and Neil are getting close – she wants to write Victor a reality check.

Victor does take notice and is not pleased. Too bad he can’t leverage Neil to stay away from his wife since Neil is working for Devon on the Neville project. Victor doesn’t have anything to hold over his head. How far will Nikki push Victor and what will she allude to?

Will Nikki allow Victor to think she’s considering sleeping with Neil? Will Victor assume this is a romantic interlude between his wife and Neil – or that the duo have turned into lushes again and are boozing pals? Either way, Victor won’t like it.

But has Nikki picked the wrong time to act out? Victor has so many irons in the fire right now – he’s got Adam Newman [Justin Hartley] playing double agent against Luca Santori [Miles Gaston Villanueva], and Victoria Newman [Amelia Heinle] is in crisis mode with Billy Abbot [Burgess Jenkins] near death.

Plus, Victor is busy trying to steal Billy’s business opportunity with Kevin Fisher [Greg Rikaart] while Billy is in a coma. Victor is way too busy being evil right now to make time for romance – but will he stop and realize that Nikki is lonely and needs his attention – or will he lash out at her and further estrange them?

Looks like, despite the Santoris and Abbotts, Victor is his own worst enemy right now. Will Nikki genuinely begin to look elsewhere for love because of Victor’s extreme neglect of her and their marriage? Could Nikki and Neil’s fauxmance turn into real romance to punish Victor and push Hilary away?
