‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Forces Curtis To Come Clean – GC Buzz Slings Corporate Mud

Curtis Fielding (Bradley Snedeker) is a side character on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But the tail end of scripts that were written by Chuck Pratt, Jr. have Victor (Eric Braeden) using this Newman Enterprises board member as the newest pawn in his chess game against Jack. Meanwhile, GC Buzz was very happy to stream all the dirt that was dug through its still-sleazy website.

Journalism isn’t dead. It’s just that political ideology has overcome newsrooms across the nation. Plus, a number of reporters have been exposed as puppets of political parties in the fall of 2016.

Y&R fans know that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) is highly attractive. She’s also Devon’s (Bryton James) wife. Both factors, along with her husband’s hope to direct her shrewd energies, allowed Hilary to become GC Buzz’ lead reporter. Yes, marrying does open opportunities in various soapy worlds.

Like many corporate raiders, Victor pushes propaganda through the misnamed ‘media’. After setting Curtis up as his information mule, the ‘Moustache’ called his bluff and told him what he needed to do in order to survive. Curtis hustled over to GC Buzz, where Mariah (Camryn Grimes), who’s another non-journalist, didn’t vet his story. She handed it over to her entitled boss, who instantly live streamed what the dupe had to say.

Victor is aiming at Jack’s (Peter Bergman) jugular. At the same time Mr. Abbot is attempting to take the ‘Dark Knight’ out by maintaining ties with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). Jack thought he obtained damaging Newman Enterprises financial documents and leaked them to the public through GC Buzz a few weeks ago. And, if not for ‘Red’, he would have passed on further faux documents last week.

Barely past one week into November and the Newman-Abbott battles are raging once again. GC Buzz hasn’t transformed into the type of media enterprise Devon wants to create. Meanwhile, viewers are anticipating Y&R’s version of a gossip site to keep dishing the dirt as Victor and Jack sling mud at each other. Maybe this duo should consider political life?
