‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, September 6: Billy Begs for Phyllis’ Love – Ashley Asks Jack About Family Tension – Nick Worries About Connor

“The Young and the Restless” for Tuesday, September 6, tease that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will have some concerns about her family. She’ll sense that something is going on, but she probably won’t be able to put her finger on it. Ashley may assume that it involves more tension between Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni).

Jack will assure Ashley that things have improved in his marriage. He’ll feel like they’re on the right track. Ashley will seem satisfied by the idea that Jack and Phyllis are fine, but she’ll wonder about Phyllis’ relationship with Billy (Jason Thompson). Perhaps Ashley will believe there’s some strife that needs to be worked out.

Ash is correct about the conflict, but she’s not seeing the big picture yet. Elsewhere, Phyllis will scold Billy for taking such huge risks at their Abbott family dinner. Billy was even daring enough to hold Phyllis’ hand under the table. She’ll just feel like it was all too much.

Billy, on the other hand, will contend that it wasn’t enough. In fact, it will never be enough unless Phyllis truly gives Billy her love. Tuesday’s Y&R preview video shows Billy saying, “I want you. I need you. I want to be together again.” Phyllis will undoubtedly melt when she looks in those puppy dog eyes.

Phyllis will confess that she longs for Billy, but she won’t think they can change the circumstances. Jill (Jess Walton) has threatened to expose everything and Phyllis is worried about destroying their family. She knows Jack would be devastated. He doesn’t deserve to have a bomb dropped on him like that.

Billy will realize that he needs to take care of the problem if he really wants Phyllis in his life. Unfortunately, Billy may end up taking this one step too far. “The Young and the Restless” rumors hint that Jill could make Billy regret going up against her.

Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) will get upset about Connor’s (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) situation. He’ll point out that Connor is home right now without either of his parents. Nick will ask Dylan (Steve Burton) what he would do if that was Sully.

The question is sure to tug at Dylan’s heartstrings. He’ll continue to push Paul (Doug Davidson) toward compassion. Paul may not be willing to let Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) off the hook entirely, but maybe they can make a deal of some sort.
