‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday October 18: Missing Patty Causes Chaos – Chloe Tormented by Nightmares – Kevin’s Gaffe Leaves Nick Unconscious

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, October 18, tease that Billy (Jason Thompson) will try to get to the bottom of what’s on Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) flash drive. In Phyllis’ office, she assures Billy that it’s nothing important. He locks her out and plugs in the flash drive to learn more. Suddenly, there’s a city-wide power outage.

Phyllis grabs a security guard and urges him to let her back in the office. Meanwhile, Billy turns on Phyllis’ laptop and guesses that her password is “RED.” Phyllis finally manages to get back in. She dives on the desk and snatches the flash drive. Billy exits and Phyllis opens some financial files for Newman Enterprises.

At the penthouse, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) enjoys some wine with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson). When Chloe leaves the room for a moment, Chelsea suggests Kevin should stick around for the night. He declines since he doesn’t want to push anything with Chloe.

Chelsea also leaves the room and eventually returns with Chloe. They realize Kevin took off. The storm starts to make Chelsea nervous. She recalls hearing the explosion on the evening of Adam’s (Justin Hartley) death. Chloe offers a story about Bella’s (Cali May Kinder) birth as a distraction. Chelsea is glad to have Chloe as a friend. She feels like they can be completely honest with each other.

Chloe seems uncomfortable, but she tries to get some rest. As Chloe sleeps, she has a nightmare about shooting Adam with the tranquilizer dart. Chloe recalls telling Adam that she wanted to watch him die. Suddenly, Chloe awakens with Chelsea towering over her. Chelsea realizes that Chloe was dreaming about Adam.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Sharon (Sharon Case) will be on edge after seeing someone outside in the storm. At home, the thunder and lightning make the situation quite spooky. Paul (Doug Davidson) shows up and decides to look around. He receives a phone call from Patty’s (Stacy Haiduk) facility and learns that she’s missing.

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) calls Kevin and gives him updates. Sharon freaks over the possibility that Patty has escaped. She tells Nick (Joshua Morrow) that Patty must’ve been who she saw through the window. Sharon confesses that Patty was obsessed and delusional during their time together at Fairview. Nick is confused about why Sharon is so upset if it’s only Patty.

After Nick heads outside, Sharon and Mariah debate the Sully secret. Mariah argues that Sharon needs to come clean or Patty will always cause problems. As Nick searches the area, someone else lurks and knocks him out. Later, it’s revealed that Kevin accidentally delivered the blow.

At Patty’s facility, Paul berates the staff for letting her escape. He wonders if Patty could’ve caused the power outage to cover her plan. Paul certainly wouldn’t rule it out. He finds Patty’s paintings so he can look for hints about her location. Paul discovers one of a pregnant Sharon and decides to check the visitor logs.

Patty’s doctor gives Paul a call and notes that she’s been found. It seems Patty was just rummaging through the kitchen for chocolate pudding. Paul has a talk with Patty and wonders if she went anywhere else. Patty begs Paul for her freedom.
