‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday July 5: Nikki Calls Victor, Shares Ian’s Demands – Dylan Fears for Nikki’s Life – Jack Wonders About Phyllis

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, July 5, tease that Dylan (Steve Burton) will get frustrated with Paul (Doug Davidson). He’ll feel like they’re chasing down worthless leads while his mother’s life is at stake. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is in serious danger as long as she’s with a guy like Ian (Ray Wise). He’s volatile and will stop at nothing to achieve his goals.

Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) will grow slightly concerned about Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). He’ll let Billy (Jason Thompson) know that he still hasn’t heard from her. At this point, Jack probably thinks Phyllis is avoiding him. He’ll suggest that maybe he needs to head back to the cabin and see what’s going on.

Phyllis and Nikki will continue their efforts to outsmart Ian, but that’s going to be tough to pull off. They may end up making Ian even more agitated. Tuesday’s preview video shows Ian holding a gun close to Nikki’s head. Ian will direct Nikki on what say and she’ll make a call to Victor (Eric Braeden).

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Victor will be stunned when he hears Nikki’s trembling voice conveying some important news. Nikki will state that she’s with Ian. She’ll insist that Victor needs to do exactly as she says. It sounds like Ian means business. He obviously took Nikki with the intention of gaining leverage in this situation.

Victor has been furious with Nikki lately, but he truly loves her deep down. Let’s hope he remembers that once Nikki informs him of Ian’s demands. Both Nikki and Phyllis are facing extreme peril. Their lives could be cut short in an instant if Victor doesn’t play by the rules.

It’s clear that a shocking showdown is on the way. Victor and Ian are two evenly matched opponents. They’re Y&R’s big shots and they know how to deliver low blows.
