Summer notes that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) wasn’t too panicked and Nick (Joshua Morrow) shouldn’t be a problem either. Luca confesses that he gave Victor (Eric Braeden) updates on their engagement. He hints that Vic took the news pretty well.
Meanwhile, Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) talk about the twins’ new project. They’re putting together their family tree. Jill (Jess Walton) speaks with Charlie (Aidan Clark) and Mattie (McKenna Roberts) about the branches. She puts Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson) together on one.

When Neil (Kristoff St. John) is asked about his parents, he states that he lost touch with them. Later, Lily suspects that there’s more to the story. She pushes Neil to open up and he says his dad raised him after his mom left.
Neil isn’t sure what happened to his parents. Lily scolds Neil for just letting those relationships fizzle. He feels like he has all of the family he needs. Lily rejoins the twins as Neil stews over his thoughts.
At Jabot, Victor hopes to work with Phyllis. He thinks they need to get Luca out of Summer’s life. Phyllis insists her plans won’t line up with Victor’s. As he heads for the door, Victor urges Phyllis to keep her temper under control. He suggests that it could drive Summer away.
Phyllis shares the engagement news with Jack (Peter Bergman) and points out that the wedding is not happening. Jack wants Phyllis to be careful, but she rants about Summer marrying Austin (Matthew Atkinson). Phyllis refuses to let Summer go down another dangerous road. Jack feels like Summer needs to make her own mistakes. Phyllis backs down and hints that she’ll try to accept it.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers indicate that Billy will face a distraction. At work, Victoria brings up a new marketing idea. As she describes the sexy campaign, Billy fantasizes about Phyllis. Once he comes back to reality, they discuss how to move forward with the advertisements.
Cane arrives and wonders why his idea isn’t being used. He also demands to know why Victoria is involved in any of this. Cane thinks he’s being pushed out, but Jill walks in and suggests that she wants all three of them running the show. Jill believes the competition will only make them more successful.

Victoria has some loose ends to tie up at Newman, so she heads out. Cane talks to Billy about Jill’s reunion goals. Billy claims he’s moved on from Victoria. Cane seems curious about the new woman in Billy’s life. Billy implies that it’s not important and doesn’t know why it would even matter to Cane. Cane feels like Jill is doing what’s best. He believes family should come first.
At Newman Enterprises, Summer sits down for a chat with Victor. He admits he’s not exactly thrilled about her upcoming marriage, but he’ll support her since she always supported him. Victoria shows up and hears Summer’s plans.
After Summer exits, Victoria and Victor debate Summer’s impending marriage. Victor claims he intends on letting Summer make her own decisions. Victoria says she’s just there to grab the rest of her stuff. Victoria assures Victor that they’re still family. She leaves and Victor looks a little depressed.
At the athletic club, Jack opens up to Jill about Phyllis. He says Phyllis isn’t pleased about Summer’s engagement, but she agreed to play it cool. Jack seems concerned about Phyllis’ efforts to put their marriage back together. He feels like Phyllis is trying too hard, but Jill assures Jack that everything is on track.
At Summer’s place, Phyllis tells Luca that Summer’s previous marriage happened too quickly. Summer eventually learned Austin wasn’t the man she thought he was. Summer returns home and Phyllis agrees to support the marriage.
When Summer says she wants to marry Luca right away, Phyllis goes along with it. She offers to help plan the ceremony. After Phyllis leaves, she calls Victor and tells him the wedding is set to happen ASAP. They decide to work together to stop it.
Will Victor and Phyllis pull off their new plan? Y&R rumors hint that big trouble is brewing. Stick with the CBS soap to see what these two will cook up.
