‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday August 9: Phyllis Plots to Stop Summer’s Wedding, Victor Puts on Support Charade – Cane Fumes Over Work Drama

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, August 9, tease that we’ll see extra tension between Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Billy (Jason Thompson). Cane will wonder what happened to his marketing idea. Furthermore, Cane will want to know why Billy is discussing their business with Victoria (Amelia Heinle).

Jill (Jess Walton) has made it her mission to reunite Victoria and Billy. She’s pretty much obsessed with at the moment. Now that Victoria is back at the company, Jill thinks she’s going to pull off her goal in no time.

Cane had better not get in the way of Jill’s grand plan. Jill isn’t someone you should mess with. Just look at how Jill has taken charge of Billy’s life. Jill is a woman who gets what she wants. Cane will have to stay in line if he hopes to get what he wants, too.

Nevertheless, Y&R rumors hint that Cane may have a trick or two up his sleeve. He won’t be satisfied with a mere taste of power. Cane might take his career goals a bit too far if he’s not careful. Stick with the CBS soap to see what Cane’s next move will be.

Meanwhile, Victor (Eric Braeden) will share a sweet conversation with Summer (Hunter King). He’ll point out that Summer always supported him and he’ll always support her as well. Of course, Victor’s idea of “support” could be quite different from Summer’s. Vic feels like getting rid of Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) would be the best thing he could do for his granddaughter.

Summer, on the other hand, believes she has a real future with Luca. She’ll intend on marrying him almost immediately. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will most definitely NOT approve. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Phyllis will rant to Jack (Peter Bergman) about what’s going on.

Tuesday’s preview video shows Phyllis grumbling, “I would rather die. No way is that wedding happening.” It sounds like Phyllis means business.
