‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday April 5: Nick Learns Victor Was Attacked – Billy Begs for Victoria’s Forgiveness – Phyllis Wants Jack to Butt Out

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, April 5, tease that Billy (Jason Thompson) will try to patch things up with Victoria (Amelia Heinle). In Monday’s episode, Billy makes a drunken spectacle of himself. Victoria is now more determined than ever to sue Jabot and take Billy for everything he’s got. Billy will realize he needs to undo some of this damage. In fact, he’ll be hoping for forgiveness.

When Billy shows up with flowers, Victoria won’t appreciate the gesture. Tuesday’s preview video shows Victoria saying, “Flowers for Newman’s funeral? Could you please get them out of here?” Billy will insist that Victoria needs to hear him out. He’ll beg Victoria to drop all her ideas of war. Billy will point out that he wants to be on Victoria’s side. They make a great team when they’re not at each other’s throats.

We don’t know for sure how Victoria will react to Billy’s speech, but “The Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that he’ll prepare for battle by Friday. It sounds like Victoria may continue her fight against Jabot. In the meantime, Jack (Peter Bergman) will have a chat with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) about trying to get Billy and Victoria back together. He’ll think it’s the best way to calm the waters.

Phyllis will say that’s a terrible idea. She’ll urge Jack to just butt out. Phyllis seems to be developing feelings for Billy. Perhaps Phyllis hopes to keep Billy single on some subconscious level. Phyllis doesn’t want to let anything mess up her relationship with Jack (Peter Bergman), but we all know this marriage is bound to head downhill eventually.

Elsewhere, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will give Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sage (Kelly Sullivan) updates on the attack Victor (Eric Braeden) faced in prison. Nick will be shocked when he hears the news that someone tried to kill his father. Y&R rumors hint that Victor will team up with Ian (Ray Wise) on a new plan soon.
