Travis (Michael Roark) is committed to Vickie (Amelia Heinle) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But, he knows that Vickie still has a deep connection with Billy (Jason Thompson). ‘Tricky’ continues to battle the ghost of ‘Villy’ and likely always will. That establishes a delicate set of existing scenarios for the trio that has been referenced.
Vickie knew that the third anniversary of Delia’s (Sophie Pollono) death would be difficult for her ex-husband. Even though she was distressed about the fight Billy was involved in that also went viral, Vickie went to Brash and Sassy intending to see how Billy was feeling on this unwanted occasion. After arriving her soul mate opened up to her.
Everyone who has worked through the process of transitioning from one loved one to another understands how Vickie is feeling. She loved Billy intensely at one point in time and has two of his children. Their ongoing connection and the genuine fondness she continues to hold for him won’t disappear. However, it has moved to different spaces within her heart and mind. That’s why the future of ‘Tricky’ projects positively.
Roark’s character is still new to the story. Yet, this actor’s quiet, likeable presence has served to quickly ingratiated Travis into the Genoa City scene. In all likelihood, ‘Tricky’ has been established as a long-term super couple. Due to his experience, Travis is learning how to balance the freshness of this developing personal relationship with the impact that Billy will likely regularly inject into this new life.
Billy may have distanced himself from Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) permanently, or is wading across an intermediary emotional stream. ‘Phack’ might still resurrect itself; but if that doesn’t happen a future for ‘Philly’ is still possible. Until that potential has fully played out, Billy probably won’t look at his former wife with the same eyes that he saw, or sees, Phyllis. However, the one-time pair formerly known as ‘Villy’ should remain feisty friends due to basic chemistry and their kids.

Are we watching the same show? The only reason Victoria went to see Billy is because Jill insisted and almost emotionally abused her.
“After arriving her soul mate opened up to her.”
Her soulmate? WTF?????
The writer is a long time fan of Y&R and clearly of Vicky and Billy. Guess you will have to agree to disagree!
Just because you love a pairing doesn’t mean you can rewrite episodes and what happens in it.
