‘The Young and The Restless’ Spoilers Thursday March 31: Phyllis Wants To Destroy Newman, Jack Concerned – Shawn’s Baby in NICU, Sage Blames Sharon

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, March 31, tease that Jack (Peter Bergman) will question Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) about what they’ve been up to. At Billy’s house, Jack pushes for answers and Phyllis says he doesn’t want to know. When Jack suspects there’s another scheme in play, Phyllis admits that no one understands what she’s going through like Billy.

Phyllis is appreciative of the fact that Billy doesn’t judge her. As Jack heads out, Billy and Phyllis remember their kiss. Meanwhile, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) talks about Victor’s (Eric Braeden) prison sentence with Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Natalie (Mara McCaffray). They worry about Michael (Christian LeBlanc) as well as what plan Victor might cook up.

When Jack and Phyllis arrive, Mariah brings up how Pass Key might be released now that Victor is locked up. Nearby, Phyllis tells Jack that a 10-year prison sentence isn’t enough for Victor. She won’t stop until she destroys Newman Enterprises. Jack fears this is consuming Phyllis, but she mentions defending Summer (Hunter King). She wants to protect her family, but Jack insists she sounds just like Victor.

Phyllis doesn’t seem to care what Jack thinks about any of this, but he begs her to let it go. Her beef is with Victor, but innocent people could get hurt if she moves forward. Phyllis won’t back down. At Billy’s place, Kevin shows up with Mariah and Natalie. They’re ready to launch Pass Key and Billy eventually agrees to get the ball rolling.

Billy leaves a message for Phyllis and talks about setting up a press conference. Natalie says this is her big moment and hugs Kevin. Mariah isn’t pleased. Later, Jack stops by to tell Billy about Phyllis’ continued vengeance plot. Billy thinks Pass Key could serve as a good distraction, but Jack isn’t interested in launching a stolen program. Billy argues that it was stolen from him first and suggests Jack is a coward.

At the club, Phyllis has another flashback of kissing Billy. Kevin, Natalie and Mariah walk in. They give Phyllis updates on Billy’s Pass Key plans. Phyllis states that Billy didn’t let her down. Kevin believes Jack should present this with Billy and Phyllis at the press conference. Phyllis and Kevin raise their glasses. They toast to victory and revenge.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) visits Sharon’s (Sharon Case) house with a heavy heart. They gab about the news of Victor’s sentence. Nick thinks Victor’s time in prison is pointless. He’ll never change. Sharon offers reassurance that none of this is Nick’s fault. Nick brings up the adoption and points out that he wants it to happen. He needs some happiness in his life.

At Crimson Lights, Sage (Kelly Sullivan) gives Shawn (Devon Martinez) the adoption papers. Shawn won’t sign them yet, but she remains committed to the process. Sage leaves and Shawn looks concerned. Sharon arrives and starts gushing about Nick again. Talk turns to Sharon giving Cassie (Camryn Grimes) up for adoption. Shawn pushes Sharon for answers about regretting the decision and taking her back.

As Shawn gets upset, she holds her baby bump and cries out in pain. Sharon calls Nick and Sage, who are home in bed. She shares that Shawn is in labor and Sage freaks. She thinks what happened with Christian is happening all over again.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Sharon will feel guilty about getting Shawn worked up. At the hospital, Sage stays by Shawn’s side while Nick speaks with Sharon in the hallway. Sharon apologizes for discussing Cassie with Shawn. Sage comes out and learns what went down. She lashes out at Sharon for causing trouble. Nick tries to settle Sage down.

The baby is in the NICU, but Nick and Sage assure Shawn that he’s a fighter. Shawn declares that she wants to see her son. At Sharon’s house, she opens up to Mariah about her guilt. She feels like she may have cost Nick his chance to find joy again.

Sharon fears Nick will lose the baby and it’ll be all her fault. Y&R rumors hint that Sharon and Nick will actually end up growing closer in the midst of the drama. Stay tuned to see if a reunion is in the works.
