‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday August 11: Suspended Dylan Sees Chloe with Victor – Chelsea and Connor Visit Adam – Mariah Opens Up to Sharon

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, August 11, tease that Connor’s (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) birthday party will get underway. At the penthouse, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor (Eric Braeden) arrive. They meet Bella (Cali May Kinder) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) takes the tots upstairs.

Chelsea rants at Victor for showing up at her home. Nikki defends her husband, but Chelsea doesn’t buy that he’s innocent. Chloe eavesdrops as they debate Victor’s involvement in framing Adam (Justin Hartley). Victor says he’s Adam’s only hope and suggests that Chelsea doesn’t know who her real friends are.

Later, Chloe gives Chelsea a hug and thanks her for everything. She urges Chelsea to take Connor to the state pen. Adam needs to see his son, even if he gets upset. Meanwhile, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) watches the prison security footage at the police station. Michael (Christian LeBlanc) arrives and wants Paul (Doug Davidson) to continue the investigation. He thinks Kevin can be of use.

Paul remains adamant that the case is closed. Michael feels like prison is taking a toll on Adam. At Walworth, Adam looks glum. He writes a letter to Connor just before Dylan (Steve Burton) pops in. Dylan suggests that Chloe’s sudden appearance in Genoa City seems suspicious. Adam is glad to have someone on his side.

Unfortunately, Victor has covered his tracks quite well. Dylan won’t want Adam to get his hopes up. Adam crumples the letter he wanted Dylan to pass along to Connor. Everything just feels pointless to Adam right now.

Michael shows up later and tries to give Adam a pep talk. He says some fierce people are out there fighting for him. Adam admits he’s struggling to deal with life behind bars. Michael mentions that he would ask Kevin to help with the case, but there are some lingering feelings for Chloe that could get in the way. Adam hints that Kevin needs to wise up.

When Chelsea stops by with Connor, Adam is taken aback. He embraces Connor and wishes him a happy birthday. Back at the police station, Paul catches Dylan continuing his investigation. He erupts and suspends Dylan on the spot. Dylan protests, but Paul forces him to hand over his gun and badge.

At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) house, she comments on Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) flowers. Mariah confesses that Kevin sent them to Chloe, but she took them instead. Sharon wonders if Mariah still wants Kevin for herself. Mariah insists that she just wants what’s best for Kevin. She doesn’t think Chloe is interested in a reunion.

Sharon suggests that Mariah might be scared at they could reconnect. Mariah seems dejected and implies that she’s longing for something that isn’t going to happen. A phone call comes in from Kevin. He’s worried since Chloe didn’t say anything about the flowers. Mariah cautions Kevin about being too pushy. She says Chloe should be the one to reach out.

After Mariah hangs up, she wonders if she should fix the flower situation and let the chips fall where they may. Sharon doesn’t think that’s necessary. Mariah chuckles when Sharon says what Chloe doesn’t know won’t hurt her. “The Young and the Restless” viewers will be anxious to see where this storyline is heading.

Elsewhere, Kevin and Michael bicker about Chloe’s guilt. Michael insists Dylan is working on the case and they’re not giving up on securing Adam’s freedom. At the athletic club, Victor is agitated about Chloe. He doesn’t approve of her moving in with Chelsea. Nikki ponders what Victor’s “only hope” statement meant.

After Victor dashes off, Paul appears and gives Nikki the news that Dylan has been suspended. She guesses this is about Adam’s case. Nikki knows Dylan wants to prove Adam was set up, but she’s certain that Victor isn’t to blame.
At the park, an annoyed Victor meets with Chloe. He snarls that Chloe needs to hand over the journal entries and leave Genoa City. Dylan watches their confrontation in the distance. Y&R rumors hint that Dylan will continue to search for evidence. Stick with the CBS soap for updates on what Dylan will uncover.
