The truth that The Young and the Restless fans have been waiting for, has finally come out this week, and even though Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) now has custody of Christian; it looks like the battle is far from over. Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) may have handed over the little boy, but there is no doubt she believes it is for good.
Next week, sources reveal that as Sharon and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) emotionally clear out ‘Sully’s’ nursery, Sharon is about to face the wrath of a person she always felt she could count on and would always have her back; her son Noah (Robert Adamson).
When Noah arrives in town, he has nothing good to say to his mother, and rightly so. Her lies will cause a lifetime of grief to everyone around him, especially his dad, Nick and his Uncle (and step-father), Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton); but there is more to Noah’s anger than anyone realizes. He begins to think that his mother, Sharon kept this secret out of revenge on his father, Nick.

Sharon explains everything to him, but she is getting tired of having to keep telling the story over and over again, to prove to people that she too was a victim of Dr. Sandy Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush). Sharon even gets angry that everyone views themselves as victims of what happened, but she is not one herself. It’s the hatred and anger that pushes Sharon forward, she has come to the conclusion that she is sick and tired of not being heard nor understood.
Sharon decides to pay Nick a visit to drop off some of Sully/Christian’s favorite things, and when Nick doesn’t ignore her nor slam the door, she takes it as a sign that he is more forgiving than she initially thought. Whether you call it being brave or being ballsy, Sharon asks Nick if they could throw Christian’s first birthday party, like her and Dylan has planned.
Asking that question makes fans realize that Sharon still believes the little boy is hers, and reality hasn’t completely hit her yet; Nick laughs at her idea about the birthday party and orders her to move on with her life. Sharon doesn’t leave and cower like she has done in the past. Sharon Case, who portrays Sharon McAvoy, gives us a little glimpse into the future on the Young and the Restless.
A newer and tougher Sharon is about to rise, and she is going to make a drastic decision to make everyone around her see that she was also victimized. Case also promises that what happens next may cause the biggest earth shattering shockwave Genoa City has ever seen!
