‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Sharon Goes Off Her Meds, Secret in Jeopardy as She Becomes Increasingly Paranoid

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that Sharon (Sharon Case) could be headed down a dark path. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is starting to get worried about Sharon’s mental state. She’s tormented by nightmares of Sage (Kelly Sullivan), but things aren’t much better when she’s awake. Sharon still has to deal with the constant guilt of keeping this secret from Nick (Joshua Morrow).

In the episode airing Monday, June 20, Sharon will decide to skip her medications. It’s not clear what’s going on in Sharon’s head right now, but it can’t be good. Perhaps Sharon feels like her meds are making her horrific dreams more frequent and vivid. In reality, they’re the only thing standing between Sharon and a total breakdown.

If Sharon continues skipping pills, she’ll likely become increasingly paranoid that Sully will be taken away. It may become impossible to hide her secret from her loved ones. Dylan (Steve Burton) tries to monitor Sharon as much as he can. He’s already noticing that she’s been on edge lately.

Dylan might put pressure on Sharon to come clean. She keeps making up excuses, but Dylan will surely realize that something more is going on. Meanwhile, Mariah is also beginning to feel like Sharon may be beyond her help. Mariah can serve as a shoulder to cry on, but she can’t give Sharon the medical guidance she needs.

Mariah will call someone named Dr. Miller in Monday’s “Young and the Restless” episode. She’ll leave a voicemail for this doc, who we’re guessing is a therapist for Sharon. Unfortunately, Sharon probably won’t appreciate Mariah contacting someone to help her. She doesn’t want to open up to anyone else about the Sully story.

Sharon may view this as an act of betrayal. If Sharon feels like the whole world has turned against her, she might try to flee with the baby. Sharon could go on the run in hopes of keeping Sully as her own child. Will Sharon really make a move that bold? Time will tell, but Y&R rumors hint that some kind of trouble is brewing. Stick with “The Young and the Restless” for updates on Sharon’s dangerous frame of mind.
