Just as the romantic birthday weekend begins Jack decides he must return to Genoa City for Adam’s [Justin Hartley] trial. This makes things even worse for Phyllis because this weekend at the Abbott cabin could have been the one chance for her to reconnect with Jack and forget Billy forever.

Phyllis is upset when Billy arrives at the cabin but doesn’t turn him away. The guilt of the affair is weighing heavily on Phyllis’s heart but her connection to Billy is off the charts. The two just cannot help themselves whenever they are alone together.
