‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Patty Williams Displays Unknown Painting Ability – Sharon Can’t Brush Baby Threat Off

Who knew that Patty (Stacy Haiduk) was a painter on ‘The Young and the Restless’? Certainly not the audience. But, she’s created two oil-based paintings. One that only Sharon (Sharon Case) received and then discarded. The other that appeared to telegraph approaching scenes to Y&R’s audience.

If memory serves, this particular character may have once been a sculptress. However, Patty is currently channeling her creative abilities through a different medium. She recently created an oil-based painting for Sharon that actually was a Trojan horse.

Patty summoned Sharon to Stoneville via a stolen cell phone. Upon arriving, Sharon was told that she was never pregnant and that Nick (Joshua Morrow) was Sully’s (Christian’s) actually father. Sharon initially tried to play off the accusation, but quickly relented to her accuser’s stunning demand.

While a glass partition separated the character’s banter, Patty’s searing message awakened Sharon’s worst fears. Miss Williams knew that her nephew, detective Dylan (Steve Burton), could trace the origin of the calls she’d made to ‘Shylan’s’ home in recent weeks. So, Patty included the concealed cell phone with the painting she had the Stoneville guard give to Sharon as she was departing.

Patty later created a second painting for her own encouragement. That colorful canvas showed a rear view of the artist and Miss Kitty in an open field looking at the sun. The nicely stroked image connected to her blackmail demand.

Dr. Sandy Anderson’s (Elizabeth Bogush) murderer will remain mum about Sharon never having been pregnant and amorally retaining Sage (Kelly Sullivan) and Nick’s child (who’s actually Adam’s, Justin Hartley, son) as long as one command is adhered to. Sharon needs to help Patty escape from the mental health facility where she’s being held.

The realization of that request seems impossible. But, Patty reminded the pressured character of an impressive fact. Sharon managed to make everyone believe that she’s the mother of another woman’s child. So, she should also be able to pull this stunt off.
