After recovering from her shock that Victor gave Noah up to the GCPD, Nikki goes to work to try and free Noah from a sentence of time served behind bars. To that end, Nikki pulls a trick straight out of Victor’s bad-boy book and decides to try blackmail.
YR spoilers reveal that Jensen Buchanan is reprising her role as Judge Elise Moxley and that’s who Nikki goes to in an effort to keep Noah for paying for the accidental hit and run of Billy Abbott [Jason Thompson] with jail time.

This seems like a rough road for Nikki to choose since it didn’t go that smoothly when Victor tried to hold the judge’s feet to the fire to get Adam Newman [Justin Hartley] out of his decade-long prison sentence for his hit and run.
(By the way, what is it with Newmans and vehicular issues? It seems like that whole clan needs to get the Uber app and stop driving. Genoa City would be safer with none of the Newmans behind the wheel! Can we just mass revoke all their licenses to drive?)
Even though Judge Moxley told Victor she wouldn’t be blackmailed and that Adam’s sentence on appeal would be what he deserved, the outcome was what they wanted and Adam walked out with just probation and community service although the Abbotts weren’t pleased.

With that positive outcome in mind, we’ll soon see Nikki approach the judge (and Victor’s former fling) about her grandson’s case to try and swing a similar win for Noah in a very similar case. But how will Moxley handle another Newman attempt to blackmail her for a verdict?
Nikki is doubly frustrated with the Noah situation after she finds out it was her son Dylan McAvoy [Steve Burton] that arrested Noah. The bottom line is, years of living with Victor and watching his unscrupulous antics have rubbed off on Nikki.
She doesn’t hesitate to try and wield her influence to get what she wants for Noah. How will Judge Moxley react? Could Nikki end up making the judge so angry that she comes down even harder on Noah than she would have if left alone?
And is Nikki really up to playing hardball at the level that Victor has in the past? What if the judge won’t cave to Nikki’s pressure? Y&R spoilers indicate that Nikki will be stunned by the results of her interaction with the judge and the outcome is nothing like she expected.
What do you think Y&R fans? Do you think Nikki is wrong not to let Noah’s case play out in court without her undue influence? Has Nikki been tainted by living so long with Victor that she can’t play fair with others? Could Nikki’s actions come back to bite her – or Noah?
