All retorts about Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) being Adam’s (Justin Hartley) child represent pure speculation for now.

Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) beliefs about who the father of her child were actually prove nothing. Really people, we’re going to use a cryptic letter, comments ‘Chadam’ made about that note and Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) hot take on the matter as Gospel that Adam is Christian’s father? Pshaw to all that, at least for now.
Next, let’s consider Faith’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind) belief that she should have a say in how her childhood flows. Group think, which isn’t family consensus by the way, allowed an elementary school child to tell her parents where she would be living.
By allowing that power play the former ‘Shick’, along with Dylan, established a precedent whereby Faith could use that point as leverage whenever something else doesn’t go her way.
All who fully realize what so-called modern parenting methods have reaped no longer try to convince the me-first, me-now, me-always crowd that time-tested practices aren’t old-fashioned, they’re wise. Instead there’s a recognition that dysfunctional lifestyles begot destructive mentalities, as current generations are experiencing. Progressive? No, regressive.

Use of hoity-toity words is intentional. They’re meant to provoke thought and expose what lies within. Yes, great soap operas delve into topical matters, rather than explore bizarre adventures and character bends.
So, Nick has been asked to handle the realization that his son never died, that his ex-wife kept said secret for an extended period of time and that his brother is entangled in this mix. With his other hand, Nick is handling his young daughter who’s emotions have been temporarily soothed by moving in with her grandparents.
Mr. Newman, if you never would have abandoned Sharon after Cassie (Camryn Grimes) died this situation wouldn’t even exist. But that deeper backstory only makes this iconic soap that much more enjoyable to fans on all sides of these issues.
