‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday May 16: Phyllis Admits Feelings For Billy – Victoria and Travis Make Love – Dr Gates Working On Early Release For Victor, Nikki Warns Her

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, May 16, tease that Billy (Jason Thompson) won’t be able to get sex with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) off his mind. At home, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) drops by with Johnny and asks if it’s a good time. She implies that she doesn’t want to cramp Billy’s style if he’s making a deal upstairs.

Billy tries to be nice, but Victoria isn’t having it. She makes sure Johnny is all set and quickly leaves. Once Victoria is gone, Johnny spots a button and Billy looks lost in thought. Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) tries to get to the bottom of Phyllis’ feelings for Billy. He wonders if Phyllis is drawn to his brother and she confesses that she is.

However, Phyllis adds that it’s about being kindred spirits. She understands how tough things have been for Billy. Jack is grateful Billy has a friend like Phyllis. Nearby, Dr. Meredith Gates (Alicia Coppola) finds Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) at the bar. She introduces herself and Nikki says she’s the new woman in Victor’s (Eric Braeden) life.

Dr. Gates assures Nikki that it’s just friendship and adds that Victor has helped her reconnect with her dad. Nikki warns that Victor always has an agenda. Dr. Gates contends that Victor is a good man, but Nikki thinks it’s a different story when you’re married to him. Nikki concedes that life with Victor is never boring. Dr. Gates feels like Nikki should give Victor another shot. She leaves and Nikki orders a martini while Jack looks on.

At Hank’s, Travis (Michael Roark) is pleased to see Victoria. His shift is ending, but he invites Victoria back to his place. She accepts Travis’ invitation with a smile. Someone lurks nearby with a camera and snaps a pic of them heading out. Once they make it to Travis’ home, they kiss passionately and have sex.

Afterwards, Travis falls asleep and Victoria answers a phone call from Billy. He’s suspicious when she starts whispering. Victoria tries to cover and steps away from Travis to tell Johnny goodnight. When she returns, Travis is up and realizes she has a kid.

Victoria frantically gets dressed and Travis assures her he likes children. She doesn’t want Travis involved in her family life. Travis urges Victoria to stick around, but she rushes off. Back at Billy’s, he promises Johnny that his parents will always be there for him.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will be concerned about Victor’s potential wrath. At the penthouse, Adam (Justin Hartley) doesn’t want Chelsea to let Victor get to her. He says she shouldn’t worry about their company or their relationship. Adam thinks is up to them to prove their love is eternal.

Chelsea grabs their old wedding rings. The inscription reads, “Now and forever.” They put on some dress clothes and light candles to set the mood. Adam and Chelsea renew their vows in a sweet, private moment. They put the rings on each other and share a kiss.

Back at the club, Jack stops Nikki from drinking and she opens up about her conversation with Dr. Gates. Nikki gives Jack updates on Dr. Gates’ plan to secure an early release for Victor. When Adam arrives with Chelsea, he tells Nikki how he thwarted Victor’s strategy. Nikki still thinks Victor will manage to get out of prison.

Phyllis hears about all of this and stomps off. Chelsea follows and notices that Phyllis has a button missing. They discuss their disdain for Victor and Chelsea brings up her vow renewal with Adam. She states that Jack and Phyllis are an inspiration. Phyllis is quick to say they’ve had their share of problems. Chelsea feels like Jack and Phyllis are a “now and forever” couple, too.

Jack and Adam talk about the news that Victor could possibly get out of the state pen. Adam fears it could really happen and he’s afraid they’ll all be in deep trouble. In prison, Victor bickers with Dr. Gates’ father. Vic feels like he’s being treated unfairly, but the judge insists he won’t be getting out early. Victor hints at Judge Gates’ disappointing son, which causes him to lash out.

A short time later, Dr. Gates returns and Victor tells her about Adam’s accusations. Dr. Gates seems curious. She wonders if Victor is truly using her to secure his release. Victor says everything is falling apart and he still wants the opportunity to reconnect with his family. Dr. Gates wonders how she knows she can trust Victor. He replies that she doesn’t and gives her a peck on the cheek as he exits.

Victor walks back to his cell and flashes a sly smile. Y&R rumors hint that Victor will manage to pull off his plan one way or another. Stick with the CBS soap to see what else Victor has up his sleeve.
