At Brash and Sassy, Billy (Jason Thompson) thinks Travis’ (Michael Roark) decision to work for Victor (Eric Braeden) can only lead to disaster. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) insists that she trusts and loves Travis. Billy is concerned that Victoria will get hurt again. He realizes he let Victoria down.
Victoria maintains that she knows what she wants. She didn’t wait until it was too late like Phyllis did. Meanwhile, Phyllis wants Jack (Peter Bergman) to help her with the paperwork. He refuses and thinks it’s ridiculous that Phyllis wants to woo him with files. Phyllis suggests that Jack can’t wipe out the love they shared.
In the elevator, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) recognizes Travis from his days as an up-and-comer at the Hazelton and Grasswood firm. They met in the Hamptons. Ashley marvels at such a coincidence. Travis talks about his old life not being the right fit. He’s glad that he moved on and found Victoria.
The elevator starts working again and Victoria is standing there when the door opens. Travis explains that they were stuck and Ashley mentions that she used to know him. Back with Phyllis, Billy pops in and implies that she should drop her fight. He doesn’t think Phyllis can win this battle. Phyllis wants Billy to leave so she can get some work done.
Michael appears later and wonders why Phyllis is putting up with these cramped conditions. She states that she needs to be close to Jack. Michael points out that Phyllis is determined. He hints that Phyllis might pull off her plan.
At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) place, she demands to know what Patty (Stacy Haiduk) wants. Patty says Sharon knew this day would come. She indicates that she hasn’t forgotten the truth. Sharon hangs up and grabs the baby. When the phone rings once again, Sharon yanks the cord out.
Dylan arrives home and notes that Sully is up late. Sharon fibs that it’s because of a bad dream, not a hang-up call. They cuddle upstairs as a family and Dylan brings up all of the pain everyone’s been dealing with. Nick (Joshua Morrow) lost Sage (Kelly Sullivan) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) lost Adam (Justin Hartley). Dylan assures Sharon that nobody is going to take anything from them.
Elsewhere, Patty has a flashback of killing Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush). Sharon heads back downstairs and plugs the phone cord in. Suddenly, Sharon’s cell phone rings. It’s Patty again. She says she’s feeling lonely and wants a friend to talk to. Sharon complains and Patty reminds her of what she stands to lose. Patty points out that the baby doesn’t belong to Sharon.
Dylan comes down and sees that Sharon is upset. He snatches the phone and starts shouting. Dylan wants to know who’s harassing his wife and quickly adds that he’s a cop. Patty disconnects and Dylan vows to get to the bottom of this. Stay tuned to “The Young and the Restless” to see if Dylan will get some shocking news.
