‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers Monday May 16: Phyllis Makes a Confession to Jack – Victoria Accepts Travis’ Invitation – Nikki Sizes Up Dr. Gates

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, May 16, tease that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will find herself quite smitten with the new hunk in her life. Travis (Michael Roark) is attractive, charming and just what Victoria is looking for right now. When Travis asks if Victoria would like to come back to his place, she’ll happily agree. It sounds like things could be heating up for these two soon.

Meanwhile, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will have her own sex session on her mind. Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis did the deed, but the consequences are still to come. Jack (Peter Bergman) demanded honesty from Phyllis in Friday’s episode. He wanted to know if Phyllis had feelings for his brother.

On Monday, Jack will once again ask Phyllis if she’s feeling drawn to Billy. Phyllis will admit that she is. Jack and Phyllis will have to determine what all of this means for their marriage. Can they find a way to make it work if Phyllis is falling for another man? They may have to consider the idea of divorce.

Phyllis and Jack have had a good run, but most soap relationships don’t last forever. It might be time to switch it up and see what happens with Billy. However, Billy may not be entirely over Victoria. That could be a problem down the road. Nevertheless, Y&R rumors hint that we’ll get to see where this is headed with Billy and Phyllis first.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Dr. Meredith Gates (Alicia Coppola) will introduce herself to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). It appears Nikki will be unsure about the new woman in Victor’s (Eric Braeden) life. She may view Dr. Gates as a bit of a threat.

Of course, Nikki knows how Victor operates. She’s aware of Victor’s typical games and she may offer Dr. Gates a warning about the man she’s dealing with. Nikki might suggest that Victor is bad news and Dr. Gates should be cautious.

On the other hand, Dr. Gates could be an ally if Nikki plays nice. Maybe Dr. Gates could put in a good word for Nikki and finally get Victor’s cold heart to soften. Stick with the CBS soap for updates on what the future holds for Nikki and Victor.
