‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday July 4: Kevin Questions Incident With Mariah, Distraught Sharon Explains – Victor’s Life Hangs in the Balance

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, July 4, tease that Sharon (Sharon Case) will land in hot water. In Friday’s episode, Sharon’s delusions took her down a dangerous path. She tried to free herself from Sage (Kelly Sullivan) by whacking her with a bookend. Since Sage is obviously just a disturbing vision, Sharon ended up knocking Mariah (Camryn Grimes) out cold instead.

Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will try to get to the bottom of all this. He’ll attempt to figure out what went down. Sharon will be a complete mess as she explains her actions to Mariah’s unconscious body. Monday’s preview video shows Sharon saying, “I didn’t mean to hurt you. You know that, right? It was her! I had to get rid of her!”

Kevin will push Sharon to tell him who she was aiming for. Will Sharon reveal that she was seeing Sage? It sounds like the fact that Sharon is off her meds will be hard to hide. Once Mariah wakes up, she’ll likely make sure Sharon gets some help. Of course, there’s always the chance that Mariah won’t remember what happened. Soaps love a good amnesia storyline on occasion.

Regardless, Sharon may be forced to seek professional assistance. Still, that doesn’t mean the news about Sully will get out just yet. If Sharon promises to turn her life around, she might convince Mariah to keep quiet. Stay tuned to see how long Sharon can keep her secret.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Victor (Eric Braeden) will face a life-or-death situation. After being shot by Ian (Ray Wise), Victor’s fate will be uncertain. Jack (Peter Bergman) will give Nick (Joshua Morrow) his jacket as they try to stop the bleeding. Paul (Doug Davidson) will wonder where the ambulance is. He’ll fear they could lose Victor if he doesn’t receive medical attention soon.

Luckily, we know Victor will live to see another day. It seems Victor will be well enough for a confrontation by the time Tuesday’s episode rolls around. Nick and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will pressure Victor to admit he’s been working on a plot for vengeance.

Elsewhere, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will declare her love for Billy (Jason Thompson) and he’ll push her to leave Jack. She won’t be positive she’s ready to take that step. Phyllis will decide to mull it over and Billy will head on his way.

However, Phyllis will have other things on her mind once Ian shows up with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) as his hostage. Y&R rumors hint that this storyline will take another interesting turn in the near future. Stick with the CBS soap for updates on Ian’s next move.
