‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday August 1: Adam Knows Chloe’s Working with Victor, Forms Plan With Chelsea – Phyllis Slaps Billy, Victor Warns Chloe, She Moves In With Chelsea

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, August 1, tease that Jack (Peter Bergman) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) will discuss the situation Adam (Justin Hartley) is facing. At the athletic club, Jack suggests that Victor (Eric Braeden) set Adam up. He thinks Victor may get Adam out after he gets back in the groove at Newman Enterprises.

Meanwhile, Jill (Jess Walton) finishes up her pitch to Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Once their conversation ends, Jack spots Jill on her way out. They talk about her protest over Brash and Sassy’s lease with Jabot. Jill realizes that she must seem like an overbearing mother, but she has a good cause and so does Jack. He’s a little confused, but Jill brushes it off.

Nick meets up with Victoria and she gives him updates on Jill’s offer. He hints that Victoria should definitely consider her options. Victor could push them out. Victoria decides to speak with Victor and find out if he has a counter offer. She visits Victor’s office and he encourages her to accept Jill’s proposal.

At the state pen, Adam is taken aback by Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) news. He learns Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is back in town and he puts it all together. Adam declares that Chloe must be Victor’s accomplice. Chelsea isn’t sure, but Adam supports his argument. Chelsea fills Adam in on Chloe’s new daughter.

Adam wants Chelsea to use her friendship and get answers from Chloe. Maybe Chloe will admit she framed Adam. Chelsea is on board with the plan. They agree to keep Michael (Christian LeBlanc) out of the loop. Later, Nick arrives and talks to Adam about Victor potentially getting rid of Victoria. He thinks Victor is saving a spot for Adam.

Adam brings up his deal with Victor. He says Vic didn’t hold up his end of the bargain. They discuss the possibility that Victor will still come through with the missing journal entries. Nick mentions the idea of Chelsea bringing Victor down, but Adam warns Nick to steer clear of his wife.

At the hotel, Victor argues with Chloe in her room. He doesn’t think she really burned the diary pages. Victor gripes about all of this going further than he planned. Adam shouldn’t be in prison. Chloe implies that Victor is a hypocrite. He likes to carry out evil schemes while posing as a family man.

Victor says Chloe is playing a dangerous game and alludes to what he’s capable of. After Victor departs, Chelsea shows up and finds Chloe cleaning up her room. Chloe says there was a break-in.

Chelsea offers to let Chloe and Bella (Cali May Kinder) stay with her. Chloe hesitates, but Chelsea insists that she can have a job as well. They take Chloe’s belongings to the penthouse and she expresses her gratitude.

In a Jabot elevator, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) pushes Billy (Jason Thompson) away and gives him a hard slap. She states that she’s back with Jack (Peter Bergman) and doesn’t love Billy. Phyllis asks if she’s making herself clear. Billy replies that she is, but he doesn’t understand her sudden turnaround.

Jack runs into Phyllis moments later. He notes that she looks rough and mentions that Jill wants them to have dinner with her. Phyllis opts out and says she’ll see Jack at home. Back at the club, Billy sulks and drinks. Jill finds Billy and immediately starts ranting.

Jill questions the mark on Billy’s face, but he comes up with an excuse. She doesn’t like Billy’s downward spiral and suggests that he should start acting like an Abbott. “The Young and the Restless” viewers can tell that Jill is on a serious mission. She’ll do anything to keep her son in line.

Jill visits Phyllis at Jabot and scolds her for going near Billy. Phyllis points out that she slapped him. Jill believes Billy belongs with Victoria, but Phyllis doesn’t think she can force a reunion. When Jill asks if Phyllis still loves Jack, she admits that she does. Jill hints that she can take care of everything.

At Billy’s house, Jack stops by to offer him a seat on the board of the foundation. Billy figures Jill must’ve put Jack up to it. Jack doesn’t like feeling so disconnected from Billy. He contends that this is a great offer and says Phyllis is on the board, too. Billy perks up and accepts the position.

It sounds like Billy has no intention of giving up on Phyllis. Y&R rumors indicate that more trouble is on the way. Stick with the CBS soap to see what unfolds.
