‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Kevin is Chloe’s Best Bet – Khloe Offers Opportunity

Kevin (Greg Rikaart) loves Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. That fact gives Chloe an opportunity to stabilize her life and raise Bella (Cali May Kinder) in a real home. Yes, ‘Khloe’ can and should be revitalized.

The initial run of ‘Khloe’ wasn’t perfect. Viewers know that Kevin has a criminal past and Chloe has also broken the law, along with morality on many occasions. However, these two young souls did love each other once upon a time. And Kevin’s feelings never subsided when Chloe went to California to restore her mind. Thankfully, his loyalty hasn’t been forgotten.

Devoted Y&R fans recall that Chloe took an unauthorized sample of Billy’s (then played by Billy Miller) DNA before she jetted to the left coast. She was attempting to literally create Delia 2.0 at the time. But Sophie Pollono’s character wasn’t cloned, instead use of modern scientific realities apparently allowed Bella to be born.

Bella’s name is actually a beautiful tribute (Bell-a) to Y&R’s co-founders Bill Bell and his wife Lee Phillip Bell. That classy back stage choice honored the Bell’s during the year in which the milestone 11,000th episode was shown.

Hopefully Chloe plans to honor her commitment to Kevin this go-round. Kevin has truly restored his life. This man even works for the Genoa City Police Department no less. Most importantly, he wants to protect Chloe and thinks of her daughter as his own, just as he did with Delia not that long ago.

Now this is soap opera, so everything isn’t expected to remain smooth forever. Yes, there will be ‘Khloe’ drama in the future. But it would be nice if the new writing team allows Kevin and Chloe to remain together indefinitely, just like Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren (Tracey Bregman) have done. Their super couple nickname is ‘Likey’, for those who didn’t remember.

Yes, someday Bella’s true paternity may (will) be revealed. It could be that Billy (currently played by Jason Thompson) has another child. But wouldn’t it be best if Chloe revealed, or learned, that Kevin was Bella’s father? Sometimes a simple story is the right one to be told.
