‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Jack and Billy’s Brotherly Break Isn’t Healing – Phyllis Caught Again

Jack (Peter Bergman) means it this time on ‘The Young and the Restless’. He told Billy (Jason Thompson) that he was done with him and he meant it. Because he’s a persistent fool, Billy won’t stop pressing. And, this epic sibling rivalry continues to flow.

Billy realized that a business acquaintance Brash and Sassy needed help from had been neutralized by Jabot. He immediately assumed that Jack conceived the act as another revenge shot. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) was actually the person who learned of their rival’s need for an additional 200,000 units of pricey product and cut off their anticipated source as a preventative measure.

Ashley’s move was smart business. She told Jackie what she’d done long before Billy blew his top at the Genoa City Athletic Club during another ill-fated meeting. By the time Billy busted into Jack’s office all the right measures had been taken. But, this off-centered personality simply doesn’t know when to quit.

Jack responded to Billy’s latest overreaction by telling him to get out of his office. Billy refused to believe that Jack wasn’t involved, choosing to raise the issue of his recent indiscretion with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). Then, he actually went to see ‘Red’. Phyllis was working with a flash drive that Jack believes contains damaging digital information about two of Newman Enterprises’ flailing divisions.

Phyllis convinced Jack to not turn over the information he obtained to Cricket (Lauralee Bell). Rather than involving the District Attorney, she thinks it would be better to leak the information through Devon’s (Bryton James) newly obtained GC Buzz web site. Doing so would allow for the possibility that the information isn’t accurate, but still deliver a message to the public that would likely hurt Victor’s (Eric Braeden) company.

Still acting irrationally, Billy took the drive from Phyllis and locked her out of her cramped office space. While Billy would gladly approve of what ‘Phack’ is planning to do to the ‘Moustache’, Jack won’t tolerate his younger brother’s antics in this case. And, as viewers know, this family war is just starting.
