‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday September 30: Sharon Freaks Over Patty’s Call – Jack Infuriated by Phyllis’ Demand – Nick and Chelsea Clear the Air

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, September 30, tease that Travis (Michael Roark) will give Victoria (Amelia Heinle) some big news. At the athletic club, Travis announces that he’ll be working for Victor (Eric Braeden). Smug Billy (Jason Thompson) isn’t surprised. Victoria asks why Travis changed his mind. He confesses that he’s been bored, but insists that he can handle Victor’s test.

At Jabot, Michael (Christian LeBlanc) states that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will give Jack (Peter Bergman) a divorce free and clear. The only condition is that she wants to remain at Jabot. Jack flips out and starts breaking things on his desk. He won’t allow it. Michael warns that this will spark a huge divorce battle, but Jack thinks he can take care of it.

Ashley (Eileen Davidson) finds Billy and urges him to talk to Phyllis. He doesn’t think she’ll listen. They bicker about the affair and Jack’s pain. Ashley notes that Phyllis wants to reunite with Jack and there’s nothing that can change her mind.

At Summer’s (Hunter King) place, Phyllis vows to keep fighting. Summer fears she’ll make everything worse. Jack shows up raging, so Summer heads upstairs. Phyllis won’t back down about working at Jabot. She hopes to get her life back. Jack reminds Phyllis that he doesn’t love her anymore.

Phyllis says she’ll take half of the company if Jack doesn’t do what she wants. There was no prenup and it’s a step Phyllis is willing to take. Jack eventually leaves in defeat and Phyllis tells Summer she’s going to work. Later, Jack stuffs Phyllis in a teeny office with a giant pile of papers to deal with. If Phyllis is going to stay at Jabot, Jack isn’t going to make things easy for her.

At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) house, Nick (Joshua Morrow) rants about all of the hints she’s dropping. He doesn’t like that Sharon is using Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) to push him toward Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). Nick makes it clear that this ends now. Once he’s gone, Sharon assures Faith that they did what was best for Nick. Someone calls Sharon and hangs up again.

Faith finds a gift somebody left for her and opens it to find a doll inside. Sharon answers another phone call and this time Patty (Stacy Haiduk) speaks up. She says she sent Faith the baby doll, but it’s not like having a real baby. Patty hints that Sharon knows what she means.

At the penthouse, Chelsea talks to Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) about Nick. She fears that she’s given him the wrong idea. Chelsea brings up the hug and suggests it was nice. However, Chelsea isn’t sure she can ever really move on. Chloe advises Chelsea not to worry too much. Chelsea decides to have a chat with Nick about boundaries.

Nick arrives later and hopes to clear the air. He apologizes if he took this too far. Nick is also sorry about Sharon and Faith’s matchmaking. Chelsea chuckles and implies that Nick beat her to the punch. At Hank’s bar, Travis slow dances with Victoria to their favorite song. He promises that his new job won’t change anything.

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Victoria will have an argument with Billy a little later. After Travis drops her off at work, Billy starts making snide remarks. Victoria gripes about Billy destroying Jack’s marriage. She points out that she has no feelings for Billy anymore.

Travis runs into Ashley on the way out. They get stuck in the elevator together, so it looks like they’ll have some time to kill. Y&R rumors hint that their conversation will lead to trouble for Travis. Stick with the CBS soap for updates on what’s in store.
