‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday March 4: Phyllis Wants Michael to Throw Victor’s Case – Sage Senses Nick’s Adoption Doubts, Baby Gender Revealed

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, March 4, tease that Shawn (Devon Martinez) will ask Sage (Kelly Sullivan) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) if they’d like to come to her ultrasound appointment. At Crimson Lights, Shawn extends the invitation and they accept. However, Sage senses some doubt from Nick and expresses her concerns privately.

Nick hints that he’s worried the adoption will fall through, but Sage tries to stay positive. Meanwhile, Noah (Robert Adamson) chats with Sharon (Sharon Case) and Dylan (Steve Burton) about the case against Victor (Eric Braeden). Talk turns to his own legal battle as well as Marisa’s (Sofia Pernas). Noah fears Marisa will end up in jail and suggests he could cut a deal to keep her out. Dylan thinks that’s a nice gesture, but it’s out of Noah’s control.

Dylan indicates that he’ll do what he can for Marisa. Later, Sharon and Dylan put their recent issues to rest. They kiss and talk about family. At the athletic club, Michael (Christian LeBlanc) considers representing Marisa. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) wants him to represent Victor, too.

Michael asks why Phyllis would want Victor to get off the hook, but Phyllis says she isn’t talking about an acquittal. She wants Michael to deliberately throw the case. In a suite, Noah tells Marisa he’ll keep her out of prison. When Marisa asks how, Noah says they’ll just have to get married. Marisa points out that she’s still married to Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva).

At the hospital, Stitch (Sean Carrigan) gets paged and Abby (Melissa Ordway) tries to explain the situation to Max (Jared Breeze). She hints that Stitch is going through a rough time because of how his sister died. That’s why Stitch’s outburst was so harsh. Max gripes about being treated like a kid, so Abby says he should man up if he wants to change that.

Stitch comes back and tells Max he’s sorry. Max says he’ll go back to school so he can be punished. Nearby, Sage and Nick arrive for the ultrasound. They run into Sharon and Dylan. Sharon speaks highly of Nick to Shawn, but she leaves Sage out as usual. At the ultrasound, Nick tells Shawn it’s OK to look at the monitor and Sage seems upset. They all find out that the baby is a boy. Afterwards, Sage asks Nick if he wants the adoption to fall through.

In the hallway, Dylan gives Stitch news that the cops are now involved. Max’s teacher suspects mistreatment and reported the potential abuse. Dylan states that social services is interviewing Max and adds that Stitch needs a lawyer. Stitch gives Abby updates a little later.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) decision will cause quite a stir. At Jabot, Dr. Neville (Michael E. Knight) and Devon (Bryton James) wonder why Ashley is giving her position to Hilary (Mishael Morgan). Devon shares a private conversation with Hilary and asks what she did. Dr. Neville takes Ashley aside. He says she’s just running scared.

Dr. Neville realizes that Hilary is blackmailing Ashley and he doesn’t want her to get away with it. Ashley insists that they should just leave it alone. Abby comes in and hears about Ashley stepping down. She pipes up that she left Newman Enterprises to work with her mom. Ashley declares that she’s done talking about all of this.

Abby exits and Dr. Neville offers to leave the project with Ashley. She just wants him to make her better so they can take Hilary down together. At Top of the Tower, Devon presses Hilary for answers about what happened with Ashley. Hilary claims Ashley wants to spend more time with Abby as she prepares for the baby.

Devon mentions that he wants to spend more time with Hilary as well, but she’s been caught up at work. Hilary thinks they can fix that and suggests they meet up in the evening. It sounds like Hilary is pretty pleased with herself at the moment. Will Hilary’s bold move come back to bite her? Y&R rumors hint that Hilary’s plan could hit a few snags.
