“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, December 23, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) will be concerned about everything that’s going on with Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind). At the park, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) suggests that it will all work out. She mentions that she’s coming to the Newman festivities later.
At the ranch, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) wishes both Nick and Dylan (Steve Burton) could be at their gathering. She calls Paul (Doug Davidson) and asks for his help. Faith is excited about tracking Santa Claus on her tablet. She tells Noah (Robert Adamson) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) where Santa’s sleigh is.

Victor once again makes a pitch to Noah about a return to Newman Enterprises. Noah tells Abby that he’s not interested in rejoining the corporate world. He likes helping Nick at The Underground. When Nick and Chelsea come in with Christian and Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois), Victor and Nikki happily greet them.
Nikki brings up that it’s good to see loved ones at Christmas and Nick thinks it’s a hint about Dylan. He notes that he should have been warned if she invited her other son. Meanwhile, Dylan offers encouragement as Sharon packs up Faith and Sully’s stockings. He reminds Sharon that Noah and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will be stopping by.
Sharon still hates that there won’t be any little ones in the house this year. Paul pops in to fulfill Nikki’s request, but Dylan says he’ll pass on the Newman gathering. Mariah shows up to give Dylan and Sharon their presents. After she’s gone, Sharon and Dylan both admit that they kept a picture of Sully. They come together for a hug as they cope with their pain.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) chases her rambunctious children all over Crimson Lights before bringing them to the ranch. She’s clearly overwhelmed, but Nick notes that Billy (Jason Thompson) can always pitch in. Victor calls all the kids over and reads them a story.

Paul arrives and breaks the news that Dylan isn’t coming. Nikki is disappointed, but tries to convince herself that it’s for the best. Dylan and Nick probably would’ve been at odds anyway. Later, Victor and Chelsea talk about missing Adam (Justin Hartley). Mariah also comes bearing gifts.
When Faith points out that Christmas tree doesn’t have a star, Victor thinks back on a fond Christmas memory. He has a flashback of lifting tiny Nick to place it atop the tree. Nick continues the tradition by picking up Faith and letting her put the star on. Nikki hands Nick an ornament that was made for Christian.
At the Chancellor mansion, Jill (Jess Walton) scolds Billy for drinking alone. She feels like he should be with his kids. Jill brings up Victoria, but Billy notes that he’s fine with friendship. He adds that it’d be a Christmas miracle if Jill would butt out. She promises to let Victoria and Billy handle it.
After everyone leaves Devon (Bryton James) and Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) penthouse, he confronts her about lying to him. Devon gripes about the deception Hilary pushed through the agent. She lashes out at Devon for trying to control her.
Hilary doesn’t think Devon trusts her. He wonders how he can really be on Hilary’s side when she won’t be honest. Hilary mentions that their relationship started as an affair. She feels like that may have laid the groundwork for trust issues. They reaffirm their love and share a warm hug.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Billy will receive some holiday greetings. At the park café, Cane (Daniel Goddard) notices Billy and wishes him a merry Christmas. Victoria appears and the kids will run over to see their daddy. Several other Genoa City residents show up and they all listen to a caroler sing.
Back at Dylan and Sharon’s place, Nick gives them a sweet surprise. He brings Christian over and they spend some time with him. Sharon gets emotional as Dylan enjoys some cuddles. Y&R rumors hint that the peace may be brief, but at least Dylan and Sharon found a little joy this Christmas. Stay tuned for updates on what’s ahead.
