Like his father, Dylan (Steve Burton) is a stubborn character on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Both he and Paul (Doug Davidson) always have their hearts in the right place. But, when their minds clashed this week, officer Dylan McAvoy was suspended from the Genoa City police force. However, his time away from work will enable him to focus full-time on Adam’s (Justin Hartley) case.

Paul ordered Dylan to turn in his badge and firearm after admonishing him for refusing to follow orders. Dylan was directly told to drop all efforts regarding the matter, Adam’s conviction, that the police department considered to be a closed case. His father’s understandable move resulted in a subsequent scene where Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Victor (Eric Braeden) were spotted together in Chancellor Park on ‘The Young and the Restless’.
An apparent outdoors scene, shot on a different version of the setting that honors Jeanne Cooper’s character Katherine, was subsequently shown. In it Dylan spotted Chloe and Victor speaking with each other. The suspended officer already suspected Chloe of being involved in Adam’s wrongful conviction for the murder of Constance Bingham (Sally Kellerman). Now, this unexpected event serves to fuel Dylan’s desire to find justice.
Kevin (Greg Rikaart) appears to be wavering internally. While he continues to state that Chloe can’t be the mystery woman who was seen meeting with Victor on the hacked prison video, he’s also continued to review it. At some point logic will overcome emotion where his thinking is concerned on ‘The Young and the Restless’. How he chooses to handle whatever he learns should factor directly into this currently unresolved situation.

Like Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), Kevin will be shocked when he learns that Chloe, not Victor, remains responsible for Adam’s imprisonment. And, now that Dylan feels even more compelled to find the truth, Chloe’s games seem likely to end in the near future. How her greatest foe, Adam, reacts when his eventual freedom is gained further deepens deliciously soapy speculation.
