‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Dylan’s Emotional Thanksgiving Decision Is Wrong – Visitation Lawsuit Makes No Sense

Dylan (Steve Burton) burst into the Newman Ranch main house on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Then he dropped a Thanksgiving Day bombshell on his brother Nick (Joshua Morrow); A lawsuit involving Christian (Jamie and Alister Tobias) was forthcoming. But legal standing has to be shaky where hoped-for visitation rights are concerned.

Sharon (Sharon Case) was talking with Michael (Christian LeBlanc) at Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) penthouse about legal options regarding visitation. Then she responded loudly after Dylan confronted her at that Thanksgiving party.

Sharon raised her voice, insisting that they should have access to the boy they raised as their own for a year. Dylan rebuked her and then offered his apologies to the gathered crowd before leaving.

Dylan was put into a terrible position by Sharon during the last year. Now she won’t veer away from a self-centered line of thought that’s forcing even more stress on her spouse.

Of course it’s understandable that she would maintain strong ties to the boy she thought of as Sully. However, Sharon’s inability to accept reality is reviving trouble that appeared to have reached a crescendo.

When Dylan left the penthouse it seemed like he wanted to be alone. Most people outside of the soap world aren’t able to relate to what he’s going through. Dylan’s trust was betrayed by his wife and the boy he thought was his first-born child has been ripped from his life. Yes, he knows that his brother will care for Christian. But the overwhelming emotions he’s been forced to deal with are forcing him to act impulsively.

Sharon has obviously proven to not be a good wife. She’s clearly become a nagging negative influence on a man who tries to live by a moral code. As a result, the future of ‘Shylan’ surely isn’t bright. The next court date Dylan and Sharon will mark on their digital calendars won’t involve a visitation hearing. No, their inevitable divorce proceeding will likely be listed on the docket instead.
