‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Devon’s Hands Remain Full – Hilary Continues to Cause Trouble, How Far Will She Go

Devon (Bryton James) nearly solved a major problem on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But, the person who continues to try his patience was again unwilling to restrain herself where business protocol was concerned. Yes, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) continues to cause trouble at GC Buzz.

So, Devon had an idea. Make use of Hilary’s intelligence and great looks. Create a new path for her to walk on, where a more positive direction could be pursued. That was the basic concept Devon had in mind when he purchased GC Buzz. His hope was to transform the gossip site into a digital location where honest news was publicly accessible.

Love has surely blinded people since the dawn of man and woman. In this instance, ‘Hevon’ appears to have potential to endure as a couple. The rapprochement Hilary and Devon achieved, after their issues with Neil (Kristoff St. John) were resolved, is real. But, the sincerity within ‘Hevon’s’ personal relationship must now be applied to their workplace connection.

There’s no true debate about whether Hilary adores her husband. Yes, it’s true that Devon’s bank account may be part of Hilary’s assessment of her chose soul mate. But, her past life experiences were apparently so overwhelming that she feels forced to look at life in a certain way. Then, there’s the matter of her seemingly uncontrollable impulses. That specific character trait may never dissipate. Yet, Devon can get through to her and is clearly a positive influence in her ongoing development.

Regarding Hilary’s current fixation: Victor does appear to be guilty of providing financial misinformation to the public. Therefore, the news story that Hilary is pushing doesn’t represent a dishonest effort. It’s her lack of experience and unwillingness to seek seasoned opinion before making decisions that affect GC Buzz that’s unnecessarily creating chaos for the website, connected television show and her husband. However, Devon is sure to give his wife additional chances to grow. And, with patience, Hilary may even reward his hope in her and their marriage.
