‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Conflict Heats Up Between Hilary and Ashley – Hilary’s Power Play Puts Ashley in Tight Spot

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that the conflict between Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) is about to heat up. Hilary recently decided to go back to scheming and it’s raising some red flags for Neil (Kristoff St. John). However, Devon (Bryton James) doesn’t seem to think it’s a huge deal. He’s just happy Hilary is committed to him again.

In other words, Hilary pretty much has a free pass to do whatever she wants at the moment. Y&R viewers know that Hilary blackmailed her way into Ashley’s job. Unfortunately, Jack (Peter Bergman) will cause a little snag in Hilary’s plan. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Jack will give Ashley a seat on the board of his new foundation. Hilary won’t like that at all. It appears she’s the only one who’s allowed to have any kind of power.

Hilary will try to get Devon to intervene. It’s not clear if Devon will actually do anything about it or not, but Hilary will certainly take action. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Hilary will interrupt Jack and Neil’s upcoming presentation to make an announcement of her own. She’ll declare that she’s donating $1 million to support their efforts.

Afterwards, Hilary will push Ashley to match the donation. Ashley will have to pony up the cash unless she wants her secret blabbed all over town. Of course, it’s possible that Hilary will let Ashley turn down the board position instead. No matter what the outcome, it looks like Ashley will end up paying a steep price.

Y&R rumors hint that Hilary will continue to manipulate the situation in the coming weeks. Hilary will just love running the show. Nevertheless, the truth about Ashley is bound to come out eventually. Hilary will inevitably lose her leverage at some point, so she should enjoy this while she can.
