‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Colin, Ashley, And Jill All Buzzing Over Philly Affair – Stage Is Set For Big Reveal

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is a hot topic on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Colin (Tristan Rogers), Jill (Jess Walton), Ashley (Eileen Davidson), Billy (Jason Thompson) and Jack (Peter Bergman) are all talking about her. And so the first stage of the the ‘Philly’ reveal begins.

Impulse buyers see various material possessions and instantly decide that they must have them without thinking. Colin is an impulse extortionist. As soon as Jill told him about ‘Philly’ he decided to use that information to extract $1 million from Jack. However, when Jack actually offered him the cash Colin wisely decided that his marriage to Jill was worth more than a quick coin fix.

Jack bought Colin’s fabrication, went to the Genoa City Athletic Club and told Phyllis, who was lingering in the dining room, that he’d (Jack) betrayed her. She was stunned to learn what Colin had almost done, not knowing how Mr. Atkinson learned the truth about ‘Philly’. But, Phyllis gained mental relief when Jack said that Colin was simply playing a game. She deflected Jack’s request to return to their couple’s therapist as soon as possible and was later seen at a solo session divulging her involvement with Billy to said professional.

Billy swallowed his umpteenth glass of liquor at Brash and Sassy and then told Ashley that he was involved with Phyllis. His sister’s persistent questions about ‘Red’ forced him to acknowledge the partial truth. Billy claimed that he and Phyllis became involved emotionally in recent months, never took matters to a deeper level and broke things off yesterday per ‘Red’s’ request.

Later, back at Jabot, Ashley cringed when Jack entered the corporate suite and asked if she’d seen his wife. Ashley tried to leave quickly, but was stopped by Jack who asked her point blank what she knew about Phyllis. She felt pressured and told Jack that Billy admitted to being in love with ‘Red’.

Now that Jack knows one side of the story, and half the version of that, his relationship with Billy will change immeasurably. Of course, Jack is sure to question Phyllis about his little brother’s emotions. At that point, all soapy bets are off.
