‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Chrishell Stause Returns To ‘Y&R’ As Bethany – Will She Expose Phyllis’ Affair?

‘The Young and the Restless’ coming and goings reveal that Chrishell Stause will be coming back to ‘Y&R’ as Bethany Bryant. Stause’s on screen return date is projected for August 16th and she will remain around for a while on a recurring basis.

Bethany comes back to Genoa City no doubt to cause some more trouble as her original character description described her as one who “loves to push the envelope and live dangerously, will interact with a prominent Genoa City family.”

Soap Opera Digest reports that Stause will return as Bethany beginning August 16; however they did not share whether she will be around longer or shorter than her last visit. Bethany is a trouble maker, on the hunt for money, and she holds a very important secret that could ruin the lives of a prominent Genoa City family.

Bethany knows of the affair between Phyllis [Gina Tognoni] and Billy [Jason Thompson]. She was originally paid by Phyllis to make herself look like the new woman in Billy’s life, but it didn’t stop the two from continuing their affair. Now, Jill [Jess Walton] knows of the affair and is doing everything to keep Phyllis and Billy apart. Even though Jill is blackmailing Phyllis, will Bethany be the one to reveal the secret affair? Will Bethany have screen time with some other persons this time around, possibly with Justin Hartley [Adam Newman] or Melissa Claire Egan [Chelsea]?

Aside from her upcoming on screen return, Stause has a lot of good things happening in her life right now. She and real life partner Justin Hartley just got engaged and they both are expected to be a part of the upcoming movie ‘Another Time’. Fans can tune into ‘The Young and the Restless’ on August 16th to see Stause’s return.
