‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Chelsea Doesn’t Trust Adam Newman – Fears Hubby Is Going Dark Again

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that Chelsea Newman [Melissa Claire Egan] is going to have some doubts about her husband, Adam Newman’s [Justin Hartley] true intentions regarding Victor Newman [Eric Braeden] this week, reported TV Guide.

Chelsea Newman will have some serious concerns and address them head-on with Adam this week. Apparently, Chelsea is worried that he is slipping into his old ways and may go back to the dark side. The spoilers are not entirely clear if Chelsea finds out that Adam is [secretly] working with Luca Santori [Miles Gaston Villanueva].If Chelsea finds out that Adam is working with Luca that could explain why she would want to have a chat with him. Adam can convince Chelsea that he is not plotting against his father, as he is loyal to his father now.

 Soap Central reported Chelsea has decided to put her trust in Adam, and tells him that she believes he is being upfront with her. It seems like TPTB must be setting the happy couple to fail; in the process will bring a new super couple on canvas. Joshua Morrow [Nick Newman] hinted he wanted to see a Chelsea and Nick pairing; however, said he is not sure if it was in the works.

Although, Chelsea tells Adam, she believes him, the spoiler hint she may have major doubts about his honesty and behavior. Adam struggles to convince her he has changed and is showing signs of embracing his dark side, once again.

Adam and Luca continue to plot to take their evil fathers down, and try to keep their partnership a secret. It becomes more difficult to hide their connection. What will happen when Adam is exposed? Is Adam setting Luca up to take the fall, with Victor in on the plot? Right now, the details of the plan are not clear—Chuck Pratt promised that more details would emerge soon.
