Billy (Jason Thompson) was in a bad position on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But this time he wasn’t the problem. Billy allowed time for his ex-wife’s instincts to play out. When they didn’t he stepped in. Then Travis’ (Michael Roark) revealed actions forced Vickie (Amelia Heinle) to make an understandable emotional decision.
Even though Thompson’s character didn’t admit it, Billy wasn’t just allowing Victoria time to make a judgment call about Travis. He was also allowing Travis time to tell Vickie the truth. One, or both of Billy’s hoped-for wishes never happened.

Jill’s (Jess Walton) insistence that Billy tell Vickie what he knew before her Christmastime wedding appeared to have tipped the scales. So in the courthouse hallway, outside of Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) visitation hearing, Billy told Vickie about Travis and Michelle (Kelly Frye). Travis then followed Vickie back to her house and attempted to explain himself.
He offered the guilty guy (or gal) explanation; blaming others for his (her) own actions. But Vickie put him in his place, including Travis’ attempt to tag Billy as a hypocritical tattletale. Then she hastily gathered his belongings and pitched them from the stairway onto the floor down below. Vickie told him to be gone by the time she returned, threw her engagement ring at him and slammed the door shut.

Vickie’s appearance when she arrived at Brash and Sassy told Billy everything. He offered compassion, but Vickie shrugged him off before starting to cry. But the good news (based upon viewer perception) is that ‘Tricky’ seems unlikely to make it to the altar. Yes, it’s wrong for Vickie to have been put through the wringer. However, she isn’t legally tied to Travis and remains free to live her own life.
Whether Vickie and Billy will reunite remains to be seen. Clearly there’s chemistry between this pair, but love alone wasn’t enough to keep ‘Villy’ together in the past. Both characters would be wise to not quickly rebound into each other’s arms. Time will reveal whether a reunion would be best as Y&R history evolves.

Yes! I believe they will eventually run into each other’s arms! Travis is not what he appears to be. Let’s hope this gets sorted out. It’s the only interesting plot. The rest is #washrinserepeat???
