‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Billy Abbott’s Wrecking Ball Behavior Stirs Up Drama In Cane’s Life – Cane’s Marriage To Lily In Trouble?

On “The Young and the Restless,” scoundrel Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has been running amok again! That’s not exactly breaking news, but this time around the latest victim of his frat boy behavior is a very unlikely target.

Y&R viewers know that Billy Boy’s ill-fated affair with his brother Jack’s (Peter Bergman) wife is over. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) has 86’d their union, much to his dismay. Billy was in love, and he thought Phyllis felt the same way.

After being dumped, Billy became a loose cannon. This includes his professional life, where he’s become an unreliable employee at Brash and Sassy.  In a recent GC Buzz interview, Billy’s antics nearly torpedoed the business puff piece.

Billy’s Brash and Sassy co-worker Cane (Daniel Goddard) is a good man, and a loyal employee. But what he’s doing to try and make up for Billy’s shortcomings may end up endangering his career and his home life!

Cane recently received a dressing down from his boss Jill (Jess Walton) for going behind her back to execute a business deal. Cane wasn’t trying to be nefarious, just doing what he thought was best for the business. As he explained, he’s been pulling double duty ever since Billy’s been distracted by his love life.

Unfortunately for Cane, this wasn’t the only time his good intentions got him into hot water! He recently worked overtime to attend a business meeting after hours with a beautiful woman.

He had a hard time explaining the “date” when his wife and kids saw him, since he was supposed to be at a school play with them!

If Cane keeps up his do-gooding as a way to cover for Billy, he risks alienating the two most powerful woman in his life, his wife and his boss.

And that would mean that Billy’s antics have once again claimed another innocent victim!
