‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoiler Video: Jason Thompson Arrives in Genoa City – First Look!

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that Jason Thompson [Billy Abbott] will arrive in Genoa City very soon! A video clip posted on Instagram certainly makes it appear that fans won’t have to wait long for the “new Billy” to appear on screen.

“General Hospital” fans have seen the last of Jason Thompson as Dr. Patrick Drake – he’s off to California with new bride – for the third time – Dr. Robin Scorpio-Drake [Kimberly McCullough] and Emma Drake [Brooklyn Rae Silzer]. Could it be possible that Jason will be on-screen at “Y&R” so soon after his final scenes aired for “GH”?

Anything is possible! Fans with a good memory might remember that when Billy Miller left his role as Ritchie Novak on “All My Children” and came on board as “The Young and the Restless” Billy Abbott his picture was still in the “AMC” opening credits! There was actually a very slight overlap for Billy Miller as Ritchie on “All My Children” and as Billy on “The Young and the Restless”! Kind of ironic, isn’t it?

The “Y&R” video promo declares that the “Games will go too far.” Adam Newman [Justin Hartley] tells Noah Newman [Robert Adamson] to “Man up – channel some of that Newman talent for deceit.” Chelsea Newman [Melissa Claire Egan] wants to know where her husband is! And Victor Newman [Eric Braden] tells Adam that HE has crossed the line!

Though it’s only January, “The Young and the Restless” seems to be shaping up for a May sweeps to remember! Are you ready to see what direction Jason Thompson takes the wayward Billy Abbott? It’s going to be interesting. As previously reported Billy Miller gave Jason lots of tips on how to portray the dark and light sides of the youngest Abbott son. Get ready!
