‘The Young and the Restless’ Rumor: Is Doug Davidson Leaving Y&R? Actor speaks out!

With the shocking news of Steve Burton’s (Dylan, YR) planned departure from The Young and the Restless, many internet sources have been buzzing recently that actor Doug Davidson, who portrays Paul on ‘Young and Restless’, is exiting along with his son very soon. Many fans are wondering with Dylan planning to exit, will Paul be the next to go? Will Paul go with his son, Dylan if he plans to leave Genoa City?  Viewers can breathe that sigh of relief because Paul will not be going anywhere anytime soon.

Actor, Doug Davidson took to twitter on October 12^th and gleefully told his followers “I’m not leaving,” Davidson assured his fans on Twitter. “Unless you know something I don’t! I love the show. No plans or thoughts to leave.”  There you have it viewers, Paul will not be departing from Genoa City or Young and Restless anytime soon. Dylan’s departure will not be affecting the actor’s decision to leave in any way. Paul will be sticking around in Genoa City to keep law and order running smoothly.

We are certainly glad to hear that Doug Davidson will be sticking around, it puts many fans and viewers fears to rest. The actor later tweeted to another follower jokingly and stated “I’d only leave in a body bag… but not to worry, I’m watching my cholesterol”. Fans of Doug Davidson can expect to continue to see Paul stirring up drama on Young and Restless.
