‘The Young and the Restless’ POLL: Who is Nikki’s Favorite Son Nicholas or Dylan? VOTE!

‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) has the Newman family split on something Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) has done to them again. This woman has caused so much damage in this family, its no wonder all of them can’t stand her. This time there may be no coming back from what she has done though.

Sharon is married to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Paul Williams’ (Doug Davidson) son, Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) and for the past year has been raising a baby boy believed to be Nikki’s other son, Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow). Sharon found out the truth about six months ago, but never came forward, hoping the secret died with Christian’s mother, Sage Newman (Kelly Sullivan).

Dylan was oblivious to all that Sharon had done and has repeatedly defended her actions, even after learning how deceptive and heartless she really is. Dylan even declared war on the Newman family, when he chose to fight his own brother for shared custody of a little boy that isn’t even his. Several people pleaded Dylan’s case to Nick, who was on the verge of allowing Dylan to see Christian from time to time.

Nikki Newman is at the center of all this controversy too. Her husband, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is adamant that Nick take full custody and never allow Dylan to see the child again; going so far as saying that Dylan had to have known from the beginning that Christian was really not his son. Y&R fans know how ruthless Victor can be, and how protective he is of his family.

Nikki can be just as ruthless, but she is in the midst of having to choose which son to stand by… the one who lost a year of his son’s life; a year believing that both his wife and son died, or the son who has raised a little boy believing the little guy was his thanks to his wife’s lies and deception.

Nick has been raised by Nikki his whole life, and clearly she loves her son deeply, but could her guilt of not keeping Dylan and raising him all these years be the thing that makes her choose him over Nick?
