‘The Young and the Restless’ POLL: Who Is a Bigger Hypocrite Nick or Ashley? VOTE!

‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) has been filled with juicy storylines lately. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) finding out that Sully was actually his and Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) son, Christian was finally revealed and the blow out was epic! Sharon’s Sharon Case) marriage to Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) has crashed and burned due to her secrets and lies.

After confronting Sharon and freaking out on her for the lies and secrets about Sully’s true identity, Nick took his son home, forbidding Sharon and Dylan to be anywhere near the little boy again. Maybe Nick needs to take a step back and remember what he did when Summer Newman (Hunter King) was born. He lied about her paternity results and hid the truth for almost 18 years.

How dare he act like he was any better than Sharon? Didn’t Phyllis suffer the consequences of Nick’s lies when she spent a year in a coma when she discovered the truth? The fall down the stairs was a direct result of the secrets Nick hid, similar to Sage dying because of Sharon’s secrets.

How about The Young and the Restless’ Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson)? She is coming down awfully hard on her brother Jack’s (Peter Bergman) ex-wife, Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) for having an affair with her husband’s younger brother, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), but she seems to forget that she is literally “calling the kettle black”.

Ashley Abbott is definitely not up for sainthood when it comes to affairs and virtues. Does she forget the fact that not only did she have sex with Dr. Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) while he was living and involved with her former step-daughter, Victoria. She continued to pine for him when he gets involved and proposes to her own daughter, Abby (Melissa Ordway).

How about when the fire happened in Newman Towers during New Year’s Eve? Stitch was already engaged to her daughter, and she still kissed the man and they professed their love for each other. Ashley Abbott really needs to look in the mirror before she calls people out on their personal affairs, because you can never tell when something is going to come back and bite you!
