‘The Young and the Restless’ POLL: Team Chelsea or Team Sharon? VOTE!

“The Young and the Restless” fans know that Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) have been growing closer lately. Nick has been a good friend to Chelsea in her time of need. Adam’s (Justin Hartley) death was a devastating blow, but Nick stepped up to help Chelsea cope. Likewise, Chelsea has been there for Nick throughout the Christian drama.

Unfortunately, Chelsea made a big mistake after she found out about Sharon’s (Sharon Case) visit with Christian. She initially kept Nick out of the loop and now she’s paying the price. Trust is obviously on Nick’s mind at the moment. He feels like people are constantly betraying him. The fact that Chelsea waited to come clean was a huge concern for Nick.

Of course, Sharon thinks it was wrong of Chelsea to spill the beans at all. What did it really hurt for Sharon to spend a few minutes with Christian? There’s no doubt that this little boy was missing his stand-in mom. Nevertheless, what’s done is done. Sharon and Chelsea will just have to deal with their mess.

Sally Sussman, the new head writer of “The Young and the Restless,” has made it clear that she wants Nick and Sharon to be key characters moving forward. Y&R spoilers hint that they’ll grow closer down the road. It sounds like Sharon and Nick are headed for a reunion.

Since Steve Burton is exiting the “The Young and the Restless” in the near future, Dylan will apparently be out of the picture. That will leave Sharon single and in need of support. Are you ready to see Nick and Sharon connect romantically again? Can you forgive Sharon’s deception for the sake of classic “Shick” chemistry?

There are tough issues to get past, but many viewers will accept the renewed love. It appears Nick and Chelsea’s romance will be over before it even begins. However, some Y&R fans thought they would’ve made a cute couple.
