‘The Young and The Restless’ POLL: Who Is More Despicable? Hilary or Phyllis? VOTE!

‘The Young and the Restless’ has no shortage of lying, cheating, dirty, double-dealing minions. But when the louse in question comes in 5-inch heels who’s the bigger baddie: Phyllis Abbott (Gina Tognoni) or Hilary Winters (Mishael Morgan)?

Depends on who you ask, but it’s a safe bet that the men they love would have a spirited debate, or fisticuffs, trying to choose.

To help you decide, let’s take a quick look at each femme fatale’s resume, er, dirt list.

Phyllis’s misdeeds go way back, heck, she even went unpunished for years after trying to mow down the loveable DA Christine “Cricket” Williams (Lauralee Bell). Cut to the present day where she’s doing the horizontal bop with her upstanding husband Jack’s (Peter Bergman) equally greasy brother Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Talk about a serious violation of the Bro Code!

Red, as she’s called by Jack, has spent the last few days ricocheting between wanting to come clean to Jack, but bedding Billy Boy instead. Phyllis has a history of doing her men wrong, also serial cheating on ex-hubby Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

Unlike Phyllis, Hilary is a relative newcomer to ‘The Young and the Restless’ but her entrance was no less egregious. Hilary came to town to avenge her alcoholic mother’s death. She blamed Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) for the tragedy and vowed to ruin him. Instead she ended up forgiving him, marrying him, and ruining him anyway by cheating with his millionaire son Devon ().

She’s spent the recent past pitting father and son against each other, while trying to social climb on the backs of everyone who gets in her way.  Currently, Hilary is enmeshed in a web of lies regarding her medical status: is she dying or just malingering? Ironically she’s seeking comfort in the arms of Old Reliable Jack.

You could argue that both ladies have reason to be angry. Phyllis is coming off a deception storyline in which she spent months believing an imposter was her husband. Hilary was kept comatose for months by Neil, albeit in a bid to save her life. Still, do these little road bumps justify their outrageous acting out?
