‘The Young And the Restless’ POLL: Summer Newman and Luca Santori – True Love Or Deadly Manipulation? VOTE!

‘The Young and the Restless’ Summer Newman [Hunter King] hasn’t been lucky in love but Luca Santori’s [Miles Gaston Villanueva] seduction is beginning to work its magic. Is this a case of Luca manipulating Summer for his own gain or true love?

Summer rarely looks before she leaps when it comes to relationships. She relentlessly pursued Kyle Abbott [Lachlan Buchanan] and that didn’t turn out well the first time. Summer put a screeching halt on attempts at seduction when she thought Kyle may be her half-brother. Then Kyle beat it out of town.

Along came Austin Travers [Matthew Atkinson] who took Aunt Avery Clark [Jessica Collins] hostage and shot Paul Williams [Doug Davidson]. Summer fell in love with Austin anyway, then married him in a quickie ceremony.

Fast forward, Summer discovers she and Kyle are not related, Austin is murdered, Kyle and Summer reunite and now Kyle’s not around for Summer when she needs him most.

Luca is waiting in the wings to swoop in and comfort Summer. Mariah Camryn Grimes] and Kevin [Greg Rikkart] and Natalie [Mara McCaffray] are furious with her for turning on them and Kyle has gone AWOL. Luca is the only one that completely understands what Summer is going through. At least that’s what Summer thinks.

Get ready for the friendship to turn into romance. But is Luca playing Summer or does he really care for her? No one in Genoa City trusts Luca at all so why should Summer? Will Luca win Summer over with just one kiss?

Is Luca a true friend and a potential love interest or is he using Summer’s vulnerability to take advantage of the young Newman heiress? Perhaps Luca’s intentions are kind of shady right now but the handsome Spaniard may find himself falling for the beautiful blonde damsel in distress?
