“The Young and the Restless” fans it’s time to weigh in! Do you love or hate Jason Thompson as the new Billy Abbott? Or do you need more time to make a decision?

Jason spent 10 years as Dr. Patrick Drake on “General Hospital.” Lucky for Jason he was coached by the original adult Billy Abbot himself – Billy Miller. Did Miller do a good job coaching Thompson?

Right now fans are split – it seems – pretty equally. “Y&R” fans either love Jason as Billy or they hate him. There are those that are still holding out hope that someday Billy Miller will come back and reclaim his role!

Did you find the scenes between Billy and Delia Abbott [Sophie Pollono] touching? Some “The Young and the Restless” fans remarked that they had to grab for the tissues. The majority of fans say they need more time to adapt to the “New Billy.” And who could blame them? This is the third recast of the role since in just over two years.

David Tom was the first recast of an adult Billy – that lasted approximately six months. Burgess Jenkins came on board but “Y&R” fans had difficulty warming up to Burgess. Can fans accept Jason Thompson as the youngest Abbott?
