‘The Young and The Restless’ POLL: Is Luca Secretly Working For Victor? VOTE!

Luca Santori (Miles Gaston Villanueva) was shown at the Genoa City Athletic Club’s rooftop pool speaking to someone on his cell phone. He advised that unidentified individual that there was a problem. Considering Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) Machiavellian nature, it’s reasonable to believe that he was talking to Luca from his hospital bed on ‘The Young and the Restless’.

Victor initially reached out to the Santori family because of a temporary Newman financial crisis. Then, after ‘The Mustache’ pressured Jabot to fill Newman’s coffers with $500 million, he wanted to sever ties with the Santori’s entirely. After his family was eventually rebuked, Luca opted to stay in Genoa City. That choice naturally raised questions as to whether he was still doing his father’s bidding, or if he genuinely was attempting to make it on his own.

Summer (Hunter King) acted naively in the past. Loyal viewers recall what her belief in Austin Travers (Matthew Atkinson) resulted in. That’s why it wasn’t surprising when she quickly added Luca to her love list. Doing so clearly enabled his deepening involvement inside her family’s business on ‘The Young and the Restless’.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) advised his daughter to trust her instincts where Luca was concerned. Nick’s recent rejection of Luca’s assertive offer to travel in his place to one of Newman’s troubled oil rigs allowed said advice to be employed. Summer’s subsequent suspicion of her boyfriend’s intentions offers encouraging evidence that ‘Snowflake’ is making tentative progress where her judgment is concerned.

Viewers of the ‘The Young and the Restless’ have been presented with enough visual evidence that allows them to tag Luca as duplicitous. Add to that, his consistent offers to supposedly better Newman Enterprises. So, wouldn’t it make sense that he would have agreed to do whatever Victor may have requested?

Regardless of whatever Luca’s agenda may be, Victor remains the master manipulator. There’s no question that he would use Summer’s latest beau as part of an overall plan to reclaim the helm. So, is Luca secretly working for Victor Newman?
